Well that was a cold miserable ref fucking I got to watch tonight. Jesus, the Chiefs D was bad, so was our Oline in the first half. Fuck actually our entire offense was shit the first half, but those three calls by the refs was a nail in the coffin.

And like I've been saying all season(not on mmo) Sutton's old ass needs to fucking go.

Is Sutton really that bad? Not that familiar with his playcalling and gameplans outside Patriots games. I don't think you really have that much to work with outside of your defensive line, tbh. Chiefs need defensive upgrades, regardless of who the DC is.

Sutton's D line is good. It's at the back where they need help. We drafted Reggie Ragland, and gave him to the Chiefs for nothing. He doesn't have the lateral quickness for today's NFL, to cover RBs/TEs. He was a great pass rusher iirc from his draft profile, but you're gonna need a WIL who can cover these days. Or have 7 DBs who can play physical, like the Chargers did.

Sutton's defense has been progressively worse year by year (pts/g) 2nd in 2014 followed by 3rd 7th 15th and I think like 22nd this year. He runs a vanilla single man or 2 deep man that's no frills and easy for good qbs to read. My biggest gripe is this huge worry he instills in his defense about giving up the long bomb. Every 3rd down the corners are so far off the line all the wr has to do is catch the damn ball and it's a first down.

This is scary.. Dunno if I want to meet Tom Brady in a Dark Ally

Tom Brady reportedly walked into a room while preparing to play the Chiefs and told Patriots teammates that he's 'the baddest motherf----- on the planet'

Tom Brady doesn't seem too nervous for the New England Patriots' AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
According to NFL Network's Mike Giardi, Brady walked into the Patriots' facility this week and shouted to the room that he's "the baddest motherf----- on the planet."

TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.

And yet they were all correct, aside from the roughing-the-passer call. Let's not forget the blatant hold/pass interference that wasn't called on the Chiefs on the very next play.

I'm curious why people keep saying this. Yes, there were a lot of non calls on PI, but that goes both ways so its mostly fair and if anything favored the chiefs. There was ONE bad roughing the passer, followed by the most blatant miss of PI in the entire game, so its basically a wash. Other than that all the calls looked clean. The challenges were all pretty obvious when you looked at them. Yes, the Patriots got lucky on off sides, but it was still the correct call.

I would also point out the PI thing isn't limited to this game in any respect, it just seems standard for the NFL now. The NFL changed the rules so much to favor offenses in the name of safety, which has knee-capped defenders, so the officials just let defenders consistently get away with holding/interfering unless it is absolutely overwhelming typically. The other game was far worse than this one.

    Updates in bold!

    AFC Championship Game notes:

    1. The Patriots (11 wins), Broncos (8 wins), and Steelers (7 wins) have combined to win 26 of 53 AFC Championship games or 49% of all AFC championship games ever played.
    2. The trio have won the last 6, 8 of the last 9, and 9 of the last 11.

    3. The only 2 times in the last 11 years that one of those three did not win the AFC title were the Colts in 2009 and Ravens in 2012.
    4. Counting THIS year, at least one of those 3 have appeared in the AFC title game in 16 of the 18 games played in the 21st century. The only 2 games where all 3 were absent were in 2009 when the Colts beat the Jets and 2002 when the Raiders beat the Titans.
    5. The Patriots in the 21st century are a perfect 16-0 in playoff games when they win the turnover battle. The Chiefs are 1-3.
    6. When the 21st century Patriots collect at least 2 turnovers in a playoff game, they are 17-1. The only loss was to the Ravens in 2009 when the Patriots turned it over 4 times.
    7. The Patriots are 1-4 in their last 5 playoff games when both teams have an equal number of turnovers.
    8. The Chiefs are 1-5 in their last 6 playoff games when they do not win the turnover battle.
    9. The 2018 Patriots EXCEL at taking care of the football. Tom Brady only has 11 interceptions. They have only fumbled 11 times as a team. Tom Brady leads with just 4. Rex Burkhead has fumbled twice in 57 carries. Sony Michel has fumbled 1x in 216 touches. James White has never fumbled in 181 touches.
    10. The 2018 Patriots went 5-3 when they did NOT win the turnover battle. They were 8-2 when they won the turnover battle.
    11. The 2018 Chiefs went 6-3 when they did NOT win the turnover battle. They were 7-2 when they won the turnover battle.
    12. A lot has been made of Andy Reid scripting the first drive of the game and how that's been super effective. When the Chiefs score a TD on their 1st drive, they are 9-1. When they don't, they are 4-4.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. International series for next year has been announced.

The Mexico game will be Chiefs @ Chargers.

The four London fixtures are Panthers @ Bucaneers, Bears @ Raiders, Bengals @ Rams, Texans @ Jaguars.

Andy Reid is the type of coach you hire when you want to make the playoffs most years, but aren't all that concerned with getting to a Super Bowl or winning one.

Damn, I was kinda hoping the Chiefs would go back to London so I could use that as a good excuse to take a vacation.

Sadly you're not that far off. And the general mood for most KC fans prior to Andy taking over was pretty sour. Mostly just sick of shitty coaching and sub par teams. Now here we are 6? seasons later and it's better, but only just making the playoffs is already starting to wear thin on some of the fan base.

Honestly, I've been a Chiefs fan for my entire life and the story of this team is they never have the full package. They either have a damn good defense with a shit show offense, or the offense is amazing(rarer) and the defense blows. This season was a good example of the offense(except a few on our oline) being amazing, and the defense usually looking like middle schoolers playing at recess. I'm not looking for a top 10 offense and top 10 defense at the same time, but they had arguably the most high powered offenses this season, with a 31 or 32 defense. If they could get somewhere around a to 15-20 D, there's no stopping them.

Chiefs fans should get used to the phrase "Next Year" its what Eagles fans chanted when Reid was in Philly.
Kara Swisher: What do you think about Cory Booker saying kick them in the shins?
Hillary Clinton: Well, that was Eric Holder.
Kara Swisher: Eric Holder, oh, Eric Holder, sorry.
Hillary Clinton: Yeah, I know they all look alike.

No, somehow, its worse under Reid. At least under past Head Coaches there was a feeling something was missing. (Except for maybe the run with Trent Green and Joe Montana).

With Reid, his questionable play caling and time management (especially late in games) just allows the wins to slip away. Leaves you feeling that next year these issues wont come up.

The offense couldnt put up enough points to beat Pitt who were held to 6 field goals.
Up 38-10 to Colts - Lost.
Up 21-3 to Titans - Lost.

Hell, even in last nights game his defense was gassed in OT. NE had ball first and goal, call a time out man, get your defense time to regroup.

His classic post game speech "That was on me....", "I need to be better...", "I need to get these guys in better position..."

    Try being a Vikings fan.

That's the only comfort I took in watching the Patriots win last night, at least Chiefs fans must still suffer for the shellacking they gave the Vikings all those years ago

The NFL has a serious ref issue. I certainly do not know how to fix it, but these players and plays are too fast for 60 year old men.

I am a Rams fan and even know the Saints got hosed. I keep trying to explain to my Saint fan friends that they still could have stopped them on two FG drives, or done better in the red zone. They can't hear me and just keep saying RAMS CHEATED!

I think ill just give them a week to cool off.
