Seconded. I dropped Arms warrior entirely because blizzard always finds a way to screw over them throughout the expansion. Same thing happened in legion, several times.

I am still feeling bitter because of the Divine Purpose % proc chance though, but then I look at my shelved Arms warrior and remember that it could've been worse.

Your first Templar's Verdict/Divine Storm as Ret (Holy Shock for Holy, Judgement for Protection) is a 100% crit chance. Since this thing already gives a +20% crit boost... eeeh...?

I'm fairly sure that Empyrean Power Divine Storms didn't proc Light's Decree yesterday, did they? The hotfix only noted divine purpose and FireOJ.

If I remember correctly, Ion stated in his latest q&a that the gcd changes wouldn't feel as bad, if the cooldowns did something else than just giving a flat damage buff. Some kind of immediate effect. That's likely the consequence of that. Although in my eyes it would have felt better to give AW some kind of aoe damage explosion when activated (some kind of aoe heal for holy perhaps?).

That'd be pretty cool actually, adding in some nice flavour to it rather than just a 100% crit for the first attack. Because if you have high crit already before you even pop that thing, chances are you'd be critting anyway.

Yeah, kinda reminds me of ferals back in Wrath in late ICC with good gear you could get close to hitting the hard crit cap (76% on whites and something else on specials), which greatly devalued any crit procs. A guaranteed crit is very impressive when your normal crit chance is ~20%, much less so when it's way way more.

You must not have played Ret in vanilla lool don't worry you'll get a chance to in Classic. Ret was an abomination auto-attack class lool. I think Wrath/WoD are the best versions of Ret.

How do you two bumbling idiots come to that conclusion? Are you incapable of reading English?

The current devs are useless, ret spec being shyte in 2006 doesn't change that fact, nor does it mean I'm saying the old-school devs had it right. My point still stands.

I've played Paladin from day dot. I still remember SoC spike damage in PvP, repentance being the last talent (after they changed it from BoK) and wearing a priest dress to Molten Core while spamming FoL and decursing people. The only reason I got Ashkandi in BWL was because our only dps warrior had a Sulfuras (I still have it).

I will not be coming back to Classic, I have better games to play.

Personally i think Wrath is the best WoW has ever been. Some will refute this as it was a more casual state of WoW but i think it was just where WoW needed to be. peaking at 12 mil subs is testament to just how good that expansion was. No expansion has ever topped Wrath numbers.

I liked Wrath Ret a lot. Having three different judgment and mana to manage was much more fun than this cicle of build hp ->tw/ds -> build again.

OMEGALUL the reason behind this nerf was because we was bursting 150-200k on reaping, I guess the dev lost track of unholy dk, DH and rogues who are sustaining 50k+ overall in m+ dungeons... imma go cry some more now.
