The short answer is you dont.
Shadow is the hands down the worst 1v1 spec in the game right now, any melee with half a brain can beat you with gear worse than you.
Go play discipline.

I play psyfiend instead of the +insanity on damage trait against fury. Suppresses some of their insane self-healing and gives you a shitpot of peel.
