Seeing how a majority of those games (physical) and all the consoles are made in China, It mite as well be a 25% tax.

Given how much Tencent is pushing into all gaming-related markets, it doesn't seem like the worst idea to tariff them. But I take just about everything that comes out of the Trump administration with a GIANORMOUS grain of salt.

The walking lobster wants 25% tax on any physical goods imported from China. Yes this effects gaming consoles, video cards and other parts etc but it is not a "game tax" and if you really think that idiot thought about it that deeply or cares it would effect the gaming industry you give him way too much credit.
