The expected TBC servers is why I am leveling in Classic at the moment - I love it, it's a great designed game but TBC was an overall improvement.

> They fixed pvp where rewards were attainable by all, not just nolifers.
That's not an improvement.
> Real world pvp was added with tower defense. Not just stv ganking.
That's not an improvement. I want brainless PvP, not some stupid targets.
> They added lfg
It's available as an addon, not a big deal.
> They fixed classes and specs. Paladins could dps and tank finally.
That's not an improvement. I'm warrior tank and I want to keep my class exclusivity. I'm not healing, why paladins should tank?
> Added arena fun.
Arenas were in Classic and much more fun.
> Added better rep rewards
I doubt that. There was nothing comparable to Winterspring Frostsaber in the game since release.
> Interesting zones
Not really. Space fantasy is not fitting with Warcraft.
> Heroic challenging dungeons and raids
Yeah, lazy rehashing of existing dungeons. And I did not ask for challenging content. That's not an improvement. I want easy approachable content rather than elitism cultivation.
> Added new races
Those were the most stupid races ever. Space goats? Elves in Horde? It's nonsense even in 2019.
Yeah, I kinda wonder how far that would go. I could see Wrath for sure (it was the most popular expansion in terms of subscriptions, after all) but am not sure how excited people would get for expansions beyond it.
"We want WoD servers! Make it happen, Blizzard!!" said no one ever

BC was the best imo, vanilla was more of a test that they perfected in bc. Wrath was also very good then it went downhill from there.
Outland was also the best leveling experience with awesome zones. Also enjoyed arena way more back then then how it is today.
Also in pretty much every poll on the best expansion bc or wrath wins.

Do you hear the voices too?
LFG is short term for Looking for Group, which simply implies that one is looking for a group. Groups are usually put together to tackle tasks that would be impossible to solo - many quests recommend more than one player to complete and instances are notorious group activity.
With The Burning Crusade, Blizzard added a LFG tool. This allow the players to put themselves in LFG mode, where you can select what you're looking to do, so that other like minded players can find you. Using the LFG tool also gives you access to the LFG channel, which is a global channel that allow for better communication and coordination.
Close associated is the expression LFM, short for Looking for More - used over the LFG channel mostly. It's a pretty flexible expression that is used to convey that you are looking for more players, i.e 'LF2M' would means you are looking for 2 more players.

TBC was perfect in every way
=> caster blue gear was better for many months as epic drops
=> crafting gear outlasted multiple tier of gear for some specs
=> flying destroyed WPVP and players were used to WPVP
=> attunaments for attunaments for attunaments was a fun thing for raiding casuals and seasonal players
=> a hard or easy raiding tier was decided by the amount of shadow priest mana batteries you had for your raid. No shadow priest, welcome to hardmode!

Blood Elves, class balancing, Horde Paladins/Alliance Shamans, actual endgame content outside of raids, time required to level toned down and several new quests and zones added to the old world to smooth out the experience. Yeah, TBC was pretty damn great compared to Classic.
I'm hoping for TBC servers but I doubt they'd announce them at this year's Blizzcon.
TBC is my favourite aswell. Core gameplay is basically classic but now you can legitimately play all the classes. That’s the only thing that annoy me about classic, you can realistically only play half of the specs
