Wow, Crash and Spyro are early unlocks for the next Humble Monthly. That is a steal at $12. I paid something like $20 for Crash alone like ten months ago...

So glad i always keep my monthly humble bundle running, on a year basis it easily makes up for the price and adds tons of other games i might have never checked out.

Doubt i will ever finish everything i own before i die, but that's a luxury problem worth having i suppose


Edit: I also notice Cars 2 is on sale for quite a bit, it has been a while since i played a decent racing game. Anyone experience with this how does it compare to the Gran Turismo series of the PS? It is getting mixed reviews on Steam although a lot of it is about that the game is unfair and so is its rating system. Any insights would be appreciated.

Stanley Parable is a fantastic game, well worth the (currently) $6.70 for BTA.
Thomas Was Alone is also nice, but sadly rather short.

If you currently have a Humble Monthly subscription it seems best to not cancel it. There's no getting back the Classic sub (which is what we all have now) if you do. You can still suspend your sub for a month though.

Considering i just pay yearly it just means more games for me for the same price. More games... Well i guess i ever have kids they are going to have an amazing collection of backlog games to play through cause i really don't know when to play the 600+ i own.

Really wish there was a quicker way to add all keys. Can also bet your ass on it that they are going to force us to use shitty epic client at one point hopefully by then the GOG client is in full swing. Or maybe epic goes tits up and game land is saved from their shithead of a CEO, who knows!

The $5 seems to just be for access to the Humble Trove thing, just a bunch of DRM free games. It still seems like it is all a worse deal then what currently exists. I am also not sure how I feel about a bonus game for the "classic" people considering there will be no way to join that tier down the road.

I am guessing they had too many people (like me) who would just sign up for the months they wanted the announced games and then immediately cancel right after. This is a way to force people to stay subscribed or else they will be booted and have to pay the higher price. Kinda shitty if you ask me.

Considering I only use humble monthly every like, 2-3 months, I'm just gonna stick to subbing when there's games I want rather than keep classic.

Yeah, it's caused me to miss out on some games that were revealed later (Like, 2 games I've wanted were revealed later), but eh, don't care, it's not worth 12 dollars a month for shit I don't care about most months.
I'm curious though, since the Premium category seems to get 9 games, and classic gets 10.. Seems weird.

Because you can "choose" what games you want to keep forever, but if you get the cheapest option you don't get any games monthly, and just the trove, so you'll lose access when you unsub.

My bad, I was being sarcastic. To me it looked like it was shoe horned in there to make the price hike look more meek. How the system will work is still vague. The first couple months will probably be amazing.

For those of us that are active subscribers -- You can still pause your membership and not lose the benefits of a Classic sub as long as you're subscribed before the switch to Choice.

How do I lose access to the Classic plan?

You will lose access to your Classic plan and benefits if you choose to cancel your subscription at any point after or prior to the release of Humble Choice. Pausing your subscription is fine, and you will not cause you to lose access to Classic for doing so.
