Why ? They are not doubling the numbers of ability per class. They”re mostly adding 3/4 spells per class, including new spells earned in Shadowlands.

Not as big class changes as Legion, mostly going to add things.

So....if Legion could have complete class and spec revamps, order halls and quest lines for each class, artifact talent trees for each spec....

Nothing they have shown justifies how little Shadowlands has content-wise, or the lack of a new class. This is going to be a really bad expansion. You're going to wish it was WoD or BFA.

Well that sucked. This xpac just feels like a larger patch. Almost everything they talked about in that panel are things that will be free to the game and don't require an xpac purchase, and should've been in the game years ago. This customization, leveling changes, class abilities, other MMO's have been doing it for 5+ years.

The complete lack of any actual info we have on the classes and the meat of the content is disheartening. When you choose to not include any major feature like a new class you seriously need to bring your best to the table to compensate, and so far I think they've failed spectacularly.

Bringing back abilities that should have never been removed is not an expansion-selling feature when classic is a thing. Give us 4th specs on some classes like Gladiator, Fistweaving, Dark Ranger for Hunters, Bard for Rogues. Re-name or re-imagine some specs like Combat>Outlaw.

Nothing feels new, it just feels like catch up with the competition. I sleep

Btw, Torghast sounds almost exactly like FFXIV deep dungeons, maybe with the exception of having some buffs that change your abilities.

So we got new leveling zones. Yep that checks out, can release an expansion.
