I was counting that as "handed to her" since it's automatic Democrat district, and she was supported by the DNC in the primary after the incumbent Democrat retired.

Different times since and different type of election. Nixon also lost to Kennedy and won 8 years later but I doubt that in todays climate you could get a 2e chance in a presidential election.

Also I honestly believe that if Warren or Biden ran last time Clinton would have lost the primary because Sanders did not have any kind of name recognition before 2016 primary so he was already starting way behind.

Many reasonable democrats don't think Hillary is a good candidate even back then because of her questionable background & her smeared reputation. I like Hillary but let's be real. If she was voted again, she would lose to Donald Trump. AGAIN!

I honestly think that the only one who can beat trump is Bernie Sanders. Democratic voters also want change from a liberal point of view.

People think Trump won because Putin tricked Republicans into voting for him, but in reality the Bernie Voters had no interest in Hillary and found her to be as bad as Trump. When she won they decided not to vote at all, which benefited Trump greatly.

I also believe that Bernie Sanders can beat Trump, but at this point Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are fighting each other for the same voters which pushes Biden towards the top. One of these two needs to drop so all their votes goes to the other, and whomever does win should automatically make the other vice president.
