Fruit. Fruit belongs in pie, not on a sandwich. Yes, yes, I know somebody is going to whip out the dictionary and tell me a tomato counts as fruit -- I'm going with the common treatment of it as a vegetable. Tomato aside, the closest I've encountered to a tolerable fruit sandwich was fried banana.
With COVID-19 making its impact on our lives, I have decided that I shall hang in there for my remaining days, skip some meals, try to get children to experiment with making henna patterns on their skin, and plant some trees. You know -- live, fast, dye young, and leave a pretty copse. I feel like I may not have that quite right.

Corn. I hope it isn't popular outside of China, but the Chinese seem compelled to put corn on pizza. I can try to dodge things like the equally popular fruit pizza, but BAAM! then it turns out everything else is generously strewn with corn.
Chinese movies and television shows often have a scene where someone turns their face to the sky and screams "why?" Roasted soybean. I got ambushed by that one at a picnic back in the US. I can handle them as a topping, especially as a way to dodge the chance someone has an allergy or intolerance for peanuts, but it doesn't cut it for me as the sole flavor for an ice cream (I don't know if it might work better combined with other flavors).
