Nope. A terminator is designed to mimic human behavior to a degree that it can infiltrate the population. We see how it operates, for example, in the first movie when the guy in the motel is giving the terminator crap about the smell, and you can see the processing going on in its red vision with the response options scrolling up, and it chooses "fuck you asshole". Of course it didn't actually have the emotion that would prompt a human to say that, it simply learned from the punks at the beginning of the movie that this was an appropriate response. Blending in.
A "relationship terminator" would be no different. It would be mimicking what it has learned but would not feel the emotions that a human would also experience. I ignore Dark Fate entirely, but even if we take the terminator learning about human emotion in T2 to be a sign that they themselves could come to actually experience their own emotions, it would still not be human emotions. You would never know how it actually felt, or if it felt at all. Definitely not relationship material.
Sexing a robot?
The Bible says Adam and Eve, not Florence and the Machine.
Hell, yes why not!!
If it comes with vibration mode, sure
if not,whats the point?
I probably thought about this a bit more than I should have. I mean "Terminator" right, but what is in a name. I suppose going by the series and whatever cannon what is to say the fucking thing doesn't have a power issue or malfunction activates it's protocol and decides to kill you,
But then... I thought well as long as you weren't on it's list of targets you should be fine,
But then... I though of all the films where the terminator fucking just murdered people unnecessarily all the while using a human suit to try to blend in, while all of it's actions were anything but, which got me to thinking maybe all of the terminators were kind of stupid looking back on it.
But then... I went back to the question, ignoring the fact I would be committing to a robot, who could never have children, all of that aside could I marry a robot hmmmm...
assuming it had the looks that got me interested to begin with they live what 120 years...
If the terminator was nothing but loyal to me, and I wasn't already married, SURE why the hell not.
Milli Vanilli, Bigger than Elvis
You guys really need to catch "Sarah Connor Chronicles."
As long as I have already been around them and haven't made them snap from any of the shit I did I would. And while I'd never cheat on anyone I'd probably be even more careful not to cheat on a terminator.
I'd trust a robot over a human. Alot more can go wrong with a person like tumors, drugs, dementia, wanting insurance money, wanting to fuck somebody else. mistaking you for an intruder, etc...
This thread is reminding me of Faye and Bubbles in the web comic Questionable Content.
