Human Hunter looks like some Field Marshal/Commander...

UGH these sets are so GOOD! Blizzard, I know you will never do this, but pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease add all these sets in the game please! And hire this man, he clearly is at LEAST on par with the artists you have already. Plz.

IDK about the model itself being iconic outside of the color palette being the signature Night Elf color palette, but a very similar design already exists in the game for some night elf archers in Darkshore (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=135607/d...er#screenshots).

Would have costed a raid tier, back when we had sets...

A bit sad that one talented guy alone has more creativity than whole blizzard wow art team. But hey, amazing work by him. Wish the game looked half that inspired.

Just hire these guys so you can use their design, Blizzard.

Absolutely on point. Wouldn't want to wear 99% of those Hunter mogs, so they're perfectly in line with what Blizzard's come up with.

I love the Night Elf and Nightborne sets. I feel like the hair on the NE monk wouldn't work in game, but it sill looks awesome.

That Blood Elf Warrior set should have been what the Heritage set was my god.

I would kill for some of these.

Ok so, any real reason Small Indie Company can't do THAT? >_>

    They can.

    They just don't WANT to.

    Let that sink in.

Because making concept art is miles easier than making actually usable in-game models. The guys doing these drawings even says so himself, he's not trying to one-up Blizzard, just drawing stuff he likes.

We have a winner. All the other sets can be deleted.

...And yet there are tons of solo fan modelers that are churning out stuff at a greater pace as well...

But... you know lets ignore the fact that we have less of this stuff all round than ever before in the history of the game. But yeah... I mean between Legions lack of all the weapons ever (but excusable due to the class fantasy and actual content around it) and... well... BFAs total lack of gear... sure.

It's all context, sadly there is years of history on one sides argument. The other is... I guess it got hard for Blizzard to make usable in-game models and design gear in a game people pay a almost 20 dollar a month subscription fee too compared to other smaller companies? How can you admit something isn't wrong, how long have you been playing this game? Have you ever drawn anything and or 3D modeled anything yourself?

I mean just look at this... https://www.wowhead.com/uldir-armor-weapons-models

How many fan modelers are churning out as many art assets as WoW? Legitimately curious. We're not just talking about armor models here, they have to make thousands of models per expansions and probably hundreds per major patch. If they didn't need to model new enemies, NPCs, locations and all that stuff, I'm sure they could churn out tons and tons of armor models- but that's not all they have to create for the game.

BFA had about as many armor sets as any other expansion if you count dungeon, raid, PvP, questing, warfront, island and heritage armors. Whenever the quality is up to snuff is another matter of course, but in terms of volume it was there. Legion had tons of weapons model as well with all the skins, and IMO the quality there was indisputable as well.

think its more about quality then quantaty, bfa had what 1 good set maby 2 out of how many, does not mather if they make 100 set armors, if 100 are bad, blizz has for many years now dropped the ball on sets and looks, playing druid aka leather, there was one good set in al of bfa, none in legion and 1 in warlords, in my opinion, but in general the people that make armor sets make bad ones. the ones comming in shadowlands looks friggin sick as hell tho

Some are goods but others are waaay to generic for my taste and seems like the creator has only knowledge of a few races. The troll ones is just wood armor, the warrior and druid are terrible and some other seems he didn't even try

Blizz Better hire this guy because their art team is a bunch of money in a room who could not draw a nice looking set like this if their lives depended on it.

I feel like I have seen these before somewhere. But either way, they look absolutely amazing. I remember he didn't have all the races yet when this was posted, probably on WoWhead many many months ago.

The amount of detail that went into each racial class armor... Just wow. I love them all.
