I really enjoyed Lego when I was young. I used to make houses and vertical buildings/towers split-open like a dollhouse.

    Mer-Man
    Superion
    Leonardo

    I still play with legos

To the surprise of no one, my collection of dinosaur toys was probably my favourite. My T-rex was like a foot tall and hollow and I could put small models of other dinosaurs inside of him, or just conveniently fit limbs and parts of other large dinosaurs in his mouth when he was feeling peckish. Aside from being some of my absolute favourites, they probably spanned the widest age range of any other toy.

I guess you could argue I never grew out of them since I still have a few toy dinosaurs on my desk now (mostly gifts from friends):

After that, probably by tinker toys. I fucking loved building things with those things.

    Easy: Legos.

As far back as I can remember into my childhood(the early 70s) I had boxes and boxes of those things and they were regularly used.

Legos and pretty much any "transforming" toy so anything from Transformers to those Digimon Digivolving Spirit toys to those Pokemon plush toys that you could fold up and zip into a pokeball. Added links so people will know what the heck I'm talking about.

Mom wanted to make up for the prior Xmas when we couldn't get anything and I got a Shogun Warrior (Mazinga) and a mess of Micronauts. Very memorable.

Legos and wrestlers. Played for so many hours with wrestlers and all the different accessories with mates. It was insane.

I am 100% it was lego (and just yesterday i cleaned the old house and moved 2 whole large boxes of legos) and probaly favorite ones were Bionicle.

I would say play-doh, but those were destroyed was to fast.
There were also some transformers, but they look nothing like the original from cartoon.

Lego and Playmobil. Lego when I wanted to build stuff and be creative, Playmobil when I just wanted to play out a story.

Street Sharks and the first line of Lego Bionicles

As a young child - plush squirrel, later "gave it away" to our new adopted kitten.

later most time was spent with Legos, best physical toy out there.

As an adult, I came very close multiple times to buying Ferrari F40 Lego set, but 100+ eur price tag, damn.
My nickname is "LDEV", not "idev". (both font clarification and ez bait)

Lego. Star Wars action figures. Lightsabers.

Then I basically stopped playing with toys entirely and it was 100% books and video games.
