The ultimate fuckeroo: 2 pieces of tier from raiding, the other two from M+. And one from rated PvP just to rub salt in the wound.

if anything, I'd be more inclined to play. I doubt I'll play retail once TBC is out though

I mean, it worked in Legion without specific sets for m+. I've honestly never seen a complaint about it. So I think it will work this time too.

i think they'd sooner deactivate tier set bonusses outside of raids than make sets for pvp/m+ these days. at least as long as you want interesting bonusses.

quite the opposite id quit if i had to run mythic + as well to get them as a raider the great vault makes me hate m+ having to do 10 to get as many choices as poss is really time consuming, as most runs take 25-30 mins if not longer (if screwing up) so thats a big time sink right there

I don't want to sound too harsh, since I both raid and do M+ and hav nothing against it(although raiding is my main objective).

Be glad that you got M+. I think some things should just stay limited to it's specific content. My main priority ist doing my weekly chest in m+ and then raid. Am I doing fine in raids without grinding m+ for gear? An absolute yes.
Vice Versa, doing a small bit of raiding of getting potential set boni should be doable from the other side too, even if it's still with pugs.

In another world there still would be at most Challenge mode or Heroic as max like in the past.

If the shift „endgame“ any further back to raiding as they already did with SL and if they gut M+ anymore I will quit yea

I'm not sure they said the return of Tier sets means they bring back the actual Item sets back with a Set bonus, rather just a class specific set for transmog.

Why on earth would anyone quit over that? Tier sets have always been a raid thing, it makes no sense to expect that they would lump them in with M+ as well.

This kind of demand is why the word 'entitled' gets thrown around so much when discussing gamers.

Are we out of real things to complain about? We have to start making things up to complain about?
    Let me try....

"I think its sooo stupid when people complain about things that haven't even happened yet.... They are such idiots." DAMMIT! Im not good at this!

I love tier sets. I hope they are added. I hope they are OP and I hope they are Raid exclusive and only work inside Raids.

NOT EVERYTHING has to be useful to everyone or all the time. People are constantly changing gear and specs for different situations. its part of the game. Don't make a big deal out of something that already happens and is already in game. Game specific, situational gear.

They could add a general currency that you could buy tier set bonuses and add em like sockets to whatever piece you want.
    Something like that.

  15. #35
No. 5 man content is easier and will always be easier, rewards should be worse than 20 man content...

Right now facerolling 8 key gives better loot than hc raiding in vault - bull-fucking-shit.
My nickname is "LDEV", not "idev". (both font clarification and ez bait)

You are most likely forced to farm maw/torghast for currency X that you use to turn your current head/shoulder/chest/gloves/legs into tier piece. Set bonuses are (2) In maw your magic strike does 2% extra damage (4) In torghast your x ability makes you more stronger.

Nah. Raiding is still the most played PvE endgame. Mythic+ is fun. I like it for its mechanics. But fuck me if i am forced to play it it or farm it out like crazy to get the boni week one.
That is the fundamental problem with Mythic+. Infinite loot. PvP and Raiding both are capped. Sure you can get incredbly lucky in raiding and get everything you need in one run. But that is highly unlikely.
Tier boni always have been BiS. That is why back in Legion everyone always raided every difficultie until they got the boni together. or why mythic raiders wore LFR gear for weeks.
If you put them into Mythic+ too... oh my god... that would be horrible.

I CAN see them putting in another currency though, where you can buy a entchantment or something though. Also i still hate that immensly. Another fuc*** currency you have to farm each week. Not thanks. I rather have the bonus not at all because of bad luck than have to farm another currency out again. And we all know who blizz handley currencies. Repeated annoying daily/weekly grinds you have to do until the end of the expansion. They said they are changing it. Hwo we don't know. We will probably hear more about it in february at blizzconline.

Honestly i get kinda annoyed if i'm forced to do any endgame content i don't want to do. In pvp i am annoyed by a need to grind mythic+ or raid stuff if i want to stand a proper chance, in raiding it's annoying to have to suffer through pvp or endless mythic+ stuff and in mythic+ it's terrible to be subjected do having to depend on legions of morons just to get a few raiding epics or to have to pvp.

And then there are people that just tire of getting one-shot out in the open world that don't give a rat's ass about any of the specialised endgame content and just want to enjoy the world and do some casual stuff, yet are forced to compete in the rat-race for group spots in even casual pve or basic survivability in casual pvp.

    So yeah.

But not a reason to quit.

I would not be mad for this, if we could apply 5 set bonuses to items we already got, or any items for stygia/soul ash, that would be way better than old tier sets that might have 2 useless secondary stats but u took it cause u needed 5set.

I would agree that currently raiding isn't nearly as high-end rewarding as it should be. But it would be stupid if they made normal mode tier sets better than equivalent e.g. heroic M+ gear. Now, if they made it that you can distill the set bonus from the gear.. and then apply it ONCE to another piece, that would be a nice thing.
