Who else dislikes new Paladin sound effects?

I'm not sure what you're getting at, but glyphs ARE for appearances only. They're all for cosmetic reasons.

Well, we don't even have the glyph panel anymore. They could have kept it just to have an easy way to show people their options.

Back when they were first added, they were for more than appearances, though, that's why I phrased it how I did.

I play with the sound off. Can only hear "pew pew, UGH, UGH, HA-YAH!" and the same zone themes on loop for so long before it all sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

Destro lock revamped sounds are terrible, too. Immolate on Classic sounds amazing and like fire. On retail it's a low thunk, mostly.

I actually think new paladin sound effects are pretty cool and distinct.

I thought most of the new sounds were great. Shaman in particular, but paladins are quite excellent as well.
