Went up there and found a manager who said he'd just take me off the schedule for the days (note: he didn't, I had to straight up call in today). While waiting for my friend, another manager came up to be and tried to guilt me into clocking in and working, because they "only had four people show up". Despite the fact that overworking due to lack of help is why I'm hurt in the first place.

I feel you. I had a boss once say if you worked less than 60+ hours a week you didn’t care about your work or company.

That seems to be a common thing and is awful. Also, tendonitis sucks ass, and I'm surprised the doc didn't suggest more time off.
I've worked with plenty of patients with tendonitis usually getting around tree weeks of therapy two times a week.
