New Hair Color Options for Void Elves, Redeemed Souls Catch Up Quest, DLC #786

New Hair Color Options for Void Elves
On top of the New Character Customizations previewed in the Patch 9.1.5 Content Update, Blizzard has announced three additional hair color options for Void Elves.

But could I ask if you could please look into adding brown/brunette, and pure black natural hair color options to void elves? It would mean a lot to many players and hopefully not take too much effort. Thanks again for your efforts.

We’ve added black, white and brown hair color options for Void Elves. ^^

    Here’s what they look like:

    Thanks for the suggestions!

    Redeemed Souls Catch Up Quest
In addition to increasing the Anima Cap to 200k and introducing a way for Anima to be transferred to alts (or to other Covenants on the same character), Blizzard has announced that they're working on a new repeatable quest for 20 additional Redeemed Souls.

We’re working on a couple of changes to address this in 9.1.5:

    • We’d like to make it so that all players will have the 20 Redeemed Souls version of the weekly quest “Return Lost Souls”, regardless of Renown level.
    • We’re designing a repeatable quest to gather 20 additional Redeemed Souls. This would be for players looking to progress their Covenant Sanctum faster.

Literally takes years to get anything done for any race - Elves ask for it after just learning they're randomly getting new things as a freebie, and they get it added a week later. lol

They announced these hair updates on 8/27 Friday. They collected feedback. Do you honestly think if your feedback was taken and assigned to an artist - they can have it done today? Give them time.

Human males have more eyebrow options than Nightborne have total customization options.
Your persistence of vision does not come without great sacrifice. Let go of the tangible mass of your mind, it is only an illusion. There is no escape.. For the soul burns on everlasting encapsulated within infinite time. A thousand year journey at the blink of an eye... Humanity is dust..

They really broke the Void Elves into something they are not. I don't get it now, does this means they are now "High Elves"? Or what is lore behind this change?.

Void elves used to be Blood elves turned into "Void" elves by a ritual, that changed them into something new. Now, its just another "Hey guys, do you like Blood elves? Here, have some Blood elves for the alliance". What a terrible design on this race. In that case, give the alliance "pink" skinned Orcs and call them a new allied race for the alliance....
Void Elves were always an asspulled race to give the Belf model (by far the most popular model in the game) to the Alliance. This is just them no longer caring enough to pretend otherwise

Why not lower redeemed souls costs? Why would anyone want to suffer th4rough farming 300~ souls?

I would like the Alliance draenei skeletons for compensation. The female ones in particular for Nightborne. Just take the tails and horns off them. Orcs already have two forms. I like the idea of Undead getting two forms. There is other races I feel would benefit from two forms. That is honesty. I been saying it for a long while now.

Still they keep releasing stuff for one Allied race. Nightborne got quite a bit of feedback when they were released too. I would like a draenei model. Alliance took the most popular Horde race. I would like the same for the Horde. People could dispute it's not the most popular for Alliance, but I beg to differ. Why we have received so much content for that race for many expansions...

Oh thank you for listening for the black and white colours.

Blood Elf fans must have realized at some point that the race with more connections to the Alliance that was literally handed to the Horde in order to give them a "pretty race" and balance them out would eventually find its way back home. Seething about it is as silly as Warlocks claiming Demon Hunters stole Metamorphosis from them.

Ah yes, returning to the faction like returning to an abusive ex. The Alliance never bothered to help them when Arthas trampled their stuff and made them what they are. Then a Horde ally who not only lived close to them but also offered to help that used to be one of them.

    Yes literally handed to them

What fucking Alliance was left after Arthas killed Lordaeron? Stormwind? the country that was still repairing their damn city nearly 20 years later after the first war?(and more importantly, ON THE OTHER FUCKING SIDE OF THE CONTINENT)

Or would it be Gilneas, who told the Alliance to literally fuck off and built a wall through their own damned lands because Terenas didn't agree on genociding the orcs right there and then.

Or would it be Stromgarde, who barely had any holdings at this point in time and was on decline at this point.

Or Dalaran? The city literally south of Lordaeron, probably dealing with the slew of refugees coming south and fending off the scourge?(before being turned into a crater by Archimonde)

Or Ironforge? Who literally DID go north, but by the time they reached the northern half of the continent it was all in ruins and Garithos was the only commanding Officer who could lead them to retake it?

The fucking strawmen that horde players pull for bullshit regarding Blood Elves is damn near limitless, so goddamn sick and tired of this 12 year old rhetoric.

The High/Blood elves were allied to Lordaeron, not Stormwind. People seem to always forget that the Forsaken are pretty much what remains of the Alliance of Lordaeron, and they have way more history with the elves than Stormwind ever had.

The argument goes both ways: If neither of those factions have anything to do with the High Elves or did not help them then it makes zero sense to add them to the Alliance as it is.
The Horde assisted more than the Alliance did so it makes sense for them to be where they are. This is just a low blow for the Horde who gained a monstrosity of Race (Nightborne) which is absolutely terrible while the Alliance got the most popular Horde race in return.
