The problem in this specific case is that COVID isn't deadly enough to kill off all the anti-vaxxers. We're not looking at an Ebola breakout here vis a vis Tom Clancy.
I AM NOT SAYING I WISH COVID WAS MORE DEADLY - PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS (this is for those who are looking to lash out)
Most of these anti-vaxxing nut fucks will get COVID and survive, and that survival is the proverbial sauce for their cooked gooses, because they can then thump their soap boxes and shrill to the high heavens that "see, we didn't NEED the vaccine - natural immunity is fine", as this assclown of a human being did recently, when he caught COVID on pur after admitting he was trying to for months.
Rest assured, if COVID had the mortality rate of Ebola, those fuckstick money grubbing whores (or just plain "I do my own research" idiots") would be Second Amendment-ing people in line ahead of them to get the vaccine.

“There you stand, the good man doing nothing. And while evil triumphs, and your rigid pacifism crumbles to blood stained dust, the only victory afforded to you is that you stuck true to your guns.”

For his sake I hope hell doesn't exist, otherwise there's going to be a crowd waiting for him down there.
-- Donald Trump, within 24 hours of Powell's deathWonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media. Hope that happens to me someday
Former President Donald John Trump, making the death of Colin Powell all about how much of a victim he is, how Fake News Media is awful, how Colin Powell was a RINO, but he can rest in peace."Wonderful to see Colin Powell, who made big mistakes on Iraq and famously, so-called weapons of mass destruction, be treated in death so beautifully by the Fake News Media," Trump said in a statement released Tuesday morning. "Hope that happens to me someday. He was a classic RINO, if even that, always being the first to attack other Republicans. He made plenty of mistakes, but anyway, may he rest in peace!"
"But anyway, may he rest in peace!" Yes, Trump really said that.
Here are three comments from other former presidents, minus Jimmy Carter.
One of these things, is not like, the other!"Laura and I are deeply saddened by the death of Colin Powell," said George W. Bush. "He was a great public servant, starting with his time as a soldier during Vietnam."
"General Powell was an exemplary soldier and an exemplary patriot," said Barack Obama. "He was at the center of some of the most consequential events of our lifetimes."
"He lived the promise of America, and spent a lifetime working to help our country, especially our young people, live up to its own ideals and noblest aspirations at home and around the world," said Bill Clinton.
I'm always amazed at how much attention that boorish, mediocre man gets. Even when he's dead and in the ground we'll be force fed "How we're still living in the age of Donald Trump" takes. It's worse than those car warranty extension robo calls.
- Christopher HitchensPopulists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.
Let's not waste a thread about Colin Powel and that itty bitty 'blot' on his record that lead to the creation of terrorist groups like Isis that gives our government so much freedom/ammunition to manufacture crisis both domestic and foreign by talking about a President that Colin Powell helped get elected with all that Isis fearmongering.
Trumps only got a few years left in him. We can shit on him when he is dead.
Right now we should be offering our prayers to Colin Powell because if there is a hell, he's surely burning in it.
About being loved after his death? Only one way to find out.
EDIT: Oh, of course I'm not advocating for violence or torture or anything. I'm just saying, when one of the most hated men in the world says "I wonder if I'll be loved when I'm gone" you have to expect snarky comments.
There is no such thing as "somewhat consistent". Trump seemed to be in favor of the war until 2004, which makes him like most Republicans at the time. He did say, in 2004, that if he had the chance he'd pull the US out of Iraq, and this is the part where I point to his Afghan campaign promises, his four years of occupation, and say "no he wouldn't have, Trump is lying".
And yes, he was still talking about seizing their oil in 2011.
Trump lies all the time about everything, and in this case, he's lying about his feelings about the Iraq War. [url=https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-politics-ap-top-news-iraq-abu-bakr-al-baghdadi-5541490f4ad945be8e9c0b46520da943]This is a man who said
There is no such mention in the book. Trump wants to be Only I Can Fix It and to do that, you have to be right about everything all the time. Trump never is.I’m writing a book ... About a year before the World Trade Center came down, the book came out. I was talking about Osama bin Laden. I said, ‘You have to kill him. You have to take him out.’ Nobody listened to me
No, Trump was not consistent about the Iraq War. He was a Republican on the Iraq War. He was only consistent about taking the oil from sovereign countries.
