Hard pass, the fact that they are unable to release in NL/BE says enough.
This will be a game that will provoke you more and more to pull he wallet to play the game.
That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange Aeons even Death may die.
Well, I imagine nobody here has any illusions about it being infested with micros balls to the wall. The extensive preorder benefits pretty much show bajillion currencies and stuff you will be able to buy.
Saying things are not "essential" there is about same grade of copium like WoW token.
That said, if the game itself is good - it will do fine.

As a side note, I'd like to see those 2 countries' policies expanded to whole EU, right now they are small enough to ignore, but if it would be a whole big region - it would not be so easily ignored.
I really enjoyed Blade and Soul. It all personally went downhill for me when the Trove came into play. I was always like ~20% AP behind my peers (who apparently had no lives and could play all day long), but I could still match/exceed their DPS through skill and knowledge. However, once Trove hit, 20% became 100%. I could no longer keep up, and because my AP was so low I was no longer invited into the dungeons I literally used to do with them the week before. Forced to pug or wait for scraps, I found I was also excluded here because everyone filtered by AP and so many people Trove'd that you could find any number of people over 1k AP within seconds.
I didn't mind content coming a little slower than we were used to because I knew the previous pace wasn't sustainable. However, I knew the Trove was so successful, that it was just going to keep coming and get bigger. I was a top PVPer, but couldn't even set foot in 6V6. I just couldn't do the damage to beat these enormous whales and god forbid I made a single mistake.
That killed BNS for me.
Too early for my opinion on the actual game, been waiting it in the west for YEARS now.
But holy shit the traduction "effort" is garbage... At least in french (usually playing in english by default, but steam launched it in french and I don't care searching if I can switch language in the beta).
Voice over is "high school theatre" level of bad, and I mean a really bad high school theatre from your random little town.
Subtitles sometimes don't match the voiceover, I don't know what is more accurate to the Korean original both not making lot of sense.
Right in the 2nd quest of the prologue, the name of the NPC in the quest doesn't match the actual name of the NPC 3m away from the quest giver... like WTF
What was all the fuss about translation effort when it's this garbage right from the start ?
I hope at least the english version is spotless as it's the one I'll play at release (if playing at release )
Been playing the beta today, its so funny that a LA steamer was so adamant about how its nothing like Diablo... it's a lot like Diablo. But it doesn't play anywhere as smooth as D3 or look as smooth. When the game originally came out in the east it prolly looked great. Now it looks pretty dated. UI is busy and controls are a little wonky. For a f2p game its ok. I was looking to get a founders pack but after playing beta its deff a pass on that.
Wow the ui is busy as hell. Gameplay is fun enough though. Not far in though.
Much better with the controller. I am using the Xbox controller and it's more fluid and logically laid out. Don't have to play the piano or awkwardly mash G.
Why G of all keys? I have no idea why... actually, I know exactly why it is that way. But there should have been a NA regional pass of the game. This is a publishing problem.
Wowza. This game needed a lot more localization for the NA market.
It's alright. Gameplay is fun but I really don't like the way it looks with the equipment (high heels?????) and the story is kind of bland. I imagine the endgame is great, seems like they can do a lot with their core systems.
I don't know what it is about the heels but my mind just can't stop focusing on it. I play games with chicks in chainmail bikinis and bare chested men in thongs without blinking an eye but I see some heels and I freak out. I keep worrying my character is going to break her ankles with all the running and jumping around she's doing in those things.
There is almost nothing I can not do in heels. It's just a perception you are unstable in heels by folks that don't wear heels.
I have ran across on icy concrete in heels full sprint.
Every last female character having high heels is kinda hilarious and you're practically greeted by a pair of huge boobs 2 minutes in. All the expected weeb bait is there.
Not offering both genders option for all classes is so 1999. Gameplay itself feels satisfying. Having a typical medieval(ish) fantasy world, horse carriages and all and then suddenly having half the classes rocking high tech weaponry, guns, missiles and lasers is hilarious. But I do think it works, it's sort of fun whipping out that BFG and going nuclear on some typical lowbie bandits in rags with swords and bows.
Visuals are a good half decade old and UI is outright a decade old, though. Player character models and effects are good, but the rest would be dated back in 2015. So like POE give or take.
I must say it's hilarious how they managed to turn the tables on Blizzard by completely ripping off Demon Hunter down to the skills, weapons and features. Sharpshooter ult is also a hilarious Overwatch rip. They sure pulled no punches.
