Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Joining the military is not that unusual for a member of the royal family. She was a member only briefly since the war ended shortly after she finished her training. She was a minor for most of the war so her contributions would’ve been minimal besides morale purposes.
That's not a conspiracy theory, go and report me quick. She never fought in WW2. That's a fact. She may have been a mechanic but she never fought, that's typical British royal propaganda. Every royal known has SERVED but in the last 2 centuries they were perfectly shielded from actual fighting. It's an insult to actual veterans claiming she fought.

- Christopher HitchensPopulists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.
The reigining monarch of England last participated in combat in 1743, in the Battle of Dettingen. The English won the battle but lost the war. Other royals were given military commands and participated in battles throughout in the 18th century but I doubt they ever did after the increasing professionalisation forced by Napoleon's wars.
Believe it or don’t but here it is.

Some fought in wars. Some didn’t.
Guys, I'm not a royalist but can we have this as a sympathetic thread please, a person died like an hour ago, no need to argue here.
Ofcourse she was posing for the pictures. Just compare the amount of pictures of Liz the Mechanic compared to other female mechanics. That's what they call propaganda.
And you're the one claiming she actually fought in WW2 while she was repairing cabs in front of press.

Its a tough job but im sure he will do it well!
He actually been taking over some of the queen's role in the past few years anyway. So, yeah, he been pretty well trained.
And given his father was nearly 100 and his mother was 96 when they passed, he is likely going to be King for a couple of decades.
I would be more worried if he died suddenly.

Through power I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken. The Force shall set me free.
