EK is drifting east at an alarming rate. xD

Honestly, they should make the map bigger and move Northrend a bit further north and Kalimdor a bit further west so the maelstrom still sits in the centre.

Also, maybe make Kalimdor and EK a bit bigger in the map? They are far bigger than the others.

None of which is supported in game and likely never will be because its a fantasy video game where 'magic' is a common cop out.
Plate tectonics is mentioned in WoW chronicle vol. 3 and referenced in a drop from precata patch.

This Dragon Isles zone is really small. I don't think people mention enough that part of the current state of the game being bad is because a lack of content.
Also, let me mention we're getting 4 new, 4 with reused art assets dungeons and a raid with 8 bosses. We'll have to wait 6 months for a 10 boss raid and no new dungeon. Not good.

The ingame map makes Azeroth look like a world of archipelagos.

Just do what GW2 allows you to do: zoom in and out of the map. Problem solved.

You know you can already zoom in and out on the map right? But HAVING to do it instead of it being an option is awful.

Doesn't matter what caused the sundering or the movement. It's how they are moving that indicates they are on plates.

Oh.. And the lore also says so.

"The Well of Eternity imploded, leading to a catastrophe known as the Great Sundering. Tectonic plates buckled. Azeroth’s sole landmass ripped apart into separate continents. The world changed forever." - World of Warcraft chronicle Volume 3 page 69

"When the Sundering tore through Azeroth, the tectonic devastation rattled the captive Old Gods and weakened their keeper-wrought prisons." - World of Warcraft chronicle Volume 1 page 122
