I literally had to server transfer to a low pop server back at WoD launch because my normal server was completely fucked. If I remember correctly the cooldown for server transfers wasn't very long though (or I'd probably not have done it) so I could go back to my normal server when I was levelled up.

During WoD you could manage to get into Frostfire Ridge, but if you tried to leave the zone you got teleported back. Also half the quests were bugged and phasing didn't work half the time. I spent the time running Firelands on my alts for transmog lol
