I'm thinking they recently decided to skip 9.3 and end with 9.2 (to switch to the next expansion early) and needed to cancel BlizzCon to update it for the decision. Instead of talking about 9.2 and 9.3, they will probably be talking about 9.2 as a final patch and then introducing 10.0.

yea it's the last expansion 100% sure, as bc was, and wotlk and cata and mop and wod and legion and bfa were according to mmo champion forumers

EverQuest is still churning out expansions iirc.

Activision Blizzard isn't going anywhere. Their lawsuit is a civil suit and they'll likely deservedly be fined, but that's not going to make them go out of business. WoW will likely keep churning out expansions long after I'm in a nursing home.

"WoW is Dying/Dead" type threads don't tend to produce much in the way of constructive discussion or debate. Closing this.
"We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." ― Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead
