    4.3 PvE

Out of curiosity, what is getting the best numbers in a raid scenario of the three specs?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm really curious as to how much i'll do as demo. Tired of pulling subpar numbers when we clear so fast that my doomguard isn't off cd =\ and now that doomguard is getting a nerf, I wonder if Demo's dps will be consistent with other specs

That's great and all Reolac, but I was asking about 4.3. T12 is Current.

    No, read the chart.

    "SimulationCraft 422-4
for World of Warcraft 4.3.0 PTR (build level 14849)"

The numbers represented are the numbers you would pull in t12 heroic gear, but with 4.3 class changes.

What scales better with the higher end gear then?
And how reliant is Demo on the Doomguard and is it still a 10 minute cooldown?

On the 4.3 sims in t12h, doomguard is down to 4.6% of our overall dps from 7.7% in 4.2 t12h. I'm not sure which scales best overall, but destro will benefit more from the t13 4-set than the others. The t13 2-set reduces the cd of doomguard/infernal to 6 mins and increases their duration by 30s (20s for demo), suggesting that it will favor demo.

How about doing some research instead of asking others to do it for you?
    - Read the patchnotes
    - Read the threads about demonology and 4.3
    - Read the current and new scaling values and damage coefficients
    etc...

demo scales very well with increasing gear compared to the other two specs all 3 specs will be equal starting out with demo pulling ahead in higher end gear that's how it is now but I'm sure some other changes will be made the doomguard fix isn't that big of deal I like it we got an increase in mastery and our soulfire is hitting harder demos execute will be good again

Demo is scaling too well. Expect some minor nerfing before 4.3 release. On the other hand, DMC: V & VPLC as trinkets for destro in the sims... must be a mistake...

After looking at the Chardev of the Sims, I think there have been major mistakes in those sims.

    Major mistakes in what sense?

There's also a difference between sims and average raiding evironement. I'd like to know how do specs look in such scenario (moderate movement, sometimes inability to remain in melee range, no perfect pet swapping etc).

How about quit being a tool and answer his question. No one likes an elitist. IMHO the only dumb question is the one u didn't ask. I'd rather someone look dumb and learn something versus being demoralized. Please take a step off your box. I get learnin and doin research. But making a mockery of it serves no one any justice.

    Just sayin (meh famous quote)

With the way the fights are looking, demonology seems like its going to be able to perform at 100% output a lot of the time, and it sims the highest in a perfect scenario.
Lot of fights in Firelands weren't incredibly kind to demonology in terms of not being able to be in melee range or making it rough to get off a good metamorphosis.

Once we can get a fully legitimate BiS set and Tier bonuses all mathed out, they should be decently ahead, but I feel like demo will still be on top with the way it scaled moving from t11-t12.

Also, OP, your signature isn't exactly accurate, unless you raid with 26 players.

The very mention of demon warlock as a tanking spec makes me vomit profusely, so please abstain from it.

WBC needs damagers, ELE/ARMS/FIRE needed most. Wendigobrewing.com to apply! 2/8 heroic 25m. 3 days, 4 hours a day.

I think he is right, because everyday you can see those kind of """ new """ posts.

Maybe the moderators should add a EJ sticky, to prevent of this and it's fitting the " Search and read before posting " too.

This makes me sad, sad panda I was really hoping Destruction would make a king-of-a-spec-hill comeback, or at least Affliction would still prevail. Just not Demo My hopes lied in mechanics that would make that happen, but it seems they were void. Thanks for the answer nonetheless.

I didn't say it was broken, I said it's not top sauce! I gotta have top sauce or the mages in raid will laugh in my face and I'd much rather have them pout and glare! :c 1k DPS is below/above mage kind of deal, srs bznz brah, srs bznz :c

The most recent nerfs should even the trees out even more, though I wouldn't be surprised if Demo is still ahead.
