Who's hating on the Pet Battle system so much that it requires a long Blue Post to defend it? I'm really looking forward and genuinely excited for it. I've already got my team decided.

Bobby Kotick did take time and strategy to suck WoW players blood, but in the end, he's sucking it wildly.
Enjoy you Activision, kids. Enjoy your Activision.

Why should the guilds that NEEDS it pay A LOT of money for it? We are already have those famous 15$ a month which should cover the server transfer or a fucking name change without problem. Especially since there is no manpower involved; there is no tech guy who inserts a USB-stick and moves the guild (or char) to another server. The whole process is completely automatic. IT COSTS THEM NOTHING.
With the new guild system you are basically forced to pay for a transfer because of the perks, reputation and achievements.
Anyone who can seriously defend those ridiculous fees should go wash their tongues because it must be brown and smell quite bad by now.
Blizz should of kept the guild transfer options available with in game gold instead of being greedy.

Whoever is complaining about the cost really makes me shake my head at humanity. If $55 is so much that you have to cry rivers of tears and scream 'greedy' for a VOLUNTARY process that you shouldn't do more than once a year, then you need to stop breastfeeding off your parents and get a job. It's just pathetic how worked up people get over things like this, completely and utterly pathetic. I hope blizzard scraps the whole idea, this disgusting playerbase doesn't deserve it.
Infracted.

...Moving on from guild QQlooking forward to pet battles!
Well, that would require them to compromise a guild leader, place an authenticator on the account, and then camp the account for three days. I would hope someone in a active, viable guild would notice that...

Yeah, it is. Previously, you couldn't transfer your guild. That's all that changed now. The guild can go with you. If a guild wanted to transfer in the past, all the members still had to pay for a transfer for each character. So 200 members would still be 25 dollars each (alts and all). Nothing changed here other than now you don't have to lose guild progress and dismantle the bank to transfer.
I don't understand how people could possibly stand for these absolutely outrageous prices. They only charge this much because they know that you lot will just lie down and take it.
Its occurred to me that the majority of WoW updates now on this website are now related to 'services', or simply put things you have to pay for on top of your monthly fee. I miss the days of talk about potential spell or talent changes, or new game features being added.
Automated database functions at $40/35/20 a pop? I'm in the wrong business.
You sir are annoying... and wrong... but mostly annoying.
Yes Blizzard wants to make more money, what company doesn't? But it just seems so over the top, obvious and a blatant way to help make up for the nearly one million subscriptions they lost. Sad.
I hope no one buys it. That will teach the greedy 1% ers... lol
And there is something called a 7 year time investment in to the game, by becoming the greedy company that they have been they also burn goodwill capital with there long term customers, not only for WoW but everything they will make in the future. Now this won't piss enough of there customers off but it sure as hell reduces any goodwill capital they still have.
