Final boss just too "epic" to share...

What do we know about MoP's overall plot and final villain so far?

    1. That they are too "epic" to share. Yet."

    2. That the true enemy is "war".

    Epic.

    War.

    *Gasp! Light bulb moment!*

Epic Games made Gears of War.

Obviously, Marcus Fenix is the final boss.

As long as when we fight him he uses the vocabulary that he has in GoW then I will be fine with it.
"And I looked and behold a pale horse, and his name that sat on him was Death and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto him over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth."

I think it might possibly be Azshara based on that comment though. :O I'd like to hope so, at least.

OR it is based on EPIC from WARhammer 40k, and the final boss is an Imperial (Empire of Pandaria!) WARmonger TITAN (Blizzards next game)

    OMG CONSPIRACIES!

    Sweet....Jesus.

We have fought Death himself, the very aspect of the Earth, but I don't think we have what it takes to take on a TITAN! ALL IS LOST!

I have a feeling it's going to be N'zoth, or Azshara. The Sha or w/e are definitely old god related and building up to something much bigger.

    Last boss of WoW?

It has to be the leader!

I like not knowing, it'll solve the problem of OH LOOK DEATHWING, let's kill his minions for a year and then fight him. Instead it'll be "hey look, pandas! let's take their stuff and rape their women while killing each other" when suddenly:

an army of Cyborg Ragnaros spliced with the genes of Illidan clones!

Seriously I am going with N'zoth

The old god never have a big screen time (they act in secret), but when we fight them, this is always an epic fight

    The Aspect of Metzen.

    That is all.
Looking for Raid: you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Come - we must be cautious.

It will be Barry Oak, and he'll only be accessible through the Pet Battle queue.

This is actually kinda strange to me.

We had "Final" Bosses each Tier in Classic, the backlash on Illidan not getting enough Screentime led to WotLKs more Mainthreatdriven Storyline which got toned down in Cata again (with the Abyssal Maw cancelling) just to go back to the Classic Model again of delivering an Epic boss, that only gets mentioned in a few Quests prior and receiving his Buildup in the Dungeon itself.
AKA Returning to the criticised Storytelling as Classic and BC handled it, away from the part that many People liked most about WotLK?

But well we had a nearly180° turn on Designphilosophy every Expansion, why am I still surprised....

Just because the main boss won't be on the cover doesn't mean we won't interact with the main boss, whoever it is will most likely have some quests on it.

In all seriousness, I'm thinking it will either be a old god, but not N'Zoth since he was said (from Yogg-Saron's puzzle box) to be at the bottom of the ocean. Probably a AQ40 raid with the Mantid's, with traits of Ulduar.

Either that or a Varian for Horde, Garrosh for Alliance boss
