I have been on a quest to find a new gaming mouse. I need side buttons. And it has not gone well. I have tried all kinds of mice and haven't found one that I can stand using. Currently, I'm using a Dell M-UVDEL1. Yeah, it's ancient.
Specifications that I need:
1. The ability to properly Claw Grip the mouse. That means the side where your right ring finger holds the mouse needs to slope down and in towards the bottom. This is a huge issue. Most all of the new mice I see are made for the Palm Grip.
2. A decent amount of DPI. I suppose anything in the 1800+ range would do fine.
3. 2 side buttons. These need to be programmable to function as an ALT and Ctrl modifier key.
4. Needs to be a decent size. I have large hands.
So that we can narrow down the search, these are the products that I have tried and do not work for one reason or another:
1. Razer Mamba - Indentions on the sides where you grip caused hand cramps.
2. Razer Deathadder - No claw grip.
3. Razer Naga Epic - Can't properly grip the side with buttons. Button programming a problem.
4. Razer Imperator - Couldn't get a good grip.
5. Razer Abyssus - No side buttons. Uncomfortable.
6. Logitech M705 - No claw grip.
7. Logitech G500 - No claw grip.
8. Logitech MX518 - No claw grip.
9. SteelSeries XAI - Side rubber too greasy to grip such a small mouse.
10. SteelSeries WoW - No claw grip. Side buttons very uncomfortable.
11. Microsoft IE 3.0 - Low DPI.
Thanks to anyone who can help me out!
