    Grand Interrogator Rodrick Bach

    Name: Rodrick Bach
    Age: 36
    Race: Human
    Gender: male
    Class: Rogue/Inquisitor

    Languages: Common, bit of Thalassian

    Faction: Scarlet Remnant

Personality: Rodrick is disciplined and loyal, but he combines this traits with a sadistic brutality and a paranoia that is repelling most other people.

Likes: Torturing, eradicating the undead, repetitive duties, a set daily routine.

Dislikes: The Forsaken and the Scourge, The Argent Dawn/Crusade, lies, sloppiness.

    Appearance: picture

Rodrick has a friendly face, and keeps a neatly trimmed red-blone beard. His hair is held in a very short crew cut. His cheekbones are prominent, but his face is very slim. His body is slender but muscular. He wears a suit of black and crimson leather, and a red cloth hood most of the time. He hides many types of blades and torture instruments on his person at all times. Over his leather chest piece he wears the tabard of the Scarlet Crusade.

    Strengths:
Due to his training and experiments, his torture is excellent. Due to that, his fighting skills are quite impressive, albeit he is constantly using poisons and tricks many would deem unfair or cruel. He is extremely disciplined and loyal, making him an excellent addition to the Scarlet Crusade.

Weaknesses: He is very set in his ways, and not very good with change. If something doesn't go as planned he is quick to throw a tantrum. He is also very mistrustful even for a Scarlet.

History: Roderick was born in the Northern outskirts of Lordaeron near the border of Quel'Thalas. His brother and him were living of the land together with their father, a seasoned hunter and forester.
Their father was drafted into the First war as the brothers were 9 and 11 years old. He survived and returned to finish their training. The brothers then served in the second war along their father, when they were teenagers. They never doubted their duty towards their Lord and it was something their father made perfectly clear they had to respect. The hard work and fierce battles hardened both Brothers, but nothing could prepare them for the scourge wars.
As Lordaeron fell, Rodricks family was slaughtered and scourged with only him surviving. He was able to end his parent's torment as Scourge soldiers, but he never found his brother's body, since he is now serving the Forsaken as a deathstalker. When the young prince of Lordaeron was about to purge Stratholme, to spare the poor citizens their fate in being scourged, Rodrick was detested by the desertion of Sir Uther. Rodrick took part in the purge and wanted to follow the young prince to kill Malganis, but he was forced to stay due to a heavy infection. After his healing, he joined the troops fighting in the Plaguelands. He joined the Scarlet crusade and tried to hunt down his brother to send him into his eternal rest but he never succeeded. This slowly drove him into madness.
Rodrick got increasingly brutal and kept it not only to the Scourge but punished all he found are weak. All the events that followed just made him more paranoid and cruel. The murder of King Therenas by his son, The possession of the Grand Crusader Dathoran, and the fall of New Haven radicalized him further, as he was luckily enough to survive them all. During that time he had some encounters with his brother, who invented a very effective numbing agent. During his torture experiments, Rodrick inverted the agent and produced a potion that amplified sensation hundredfold. He then wa pronounced Grand interrogator, and appointed for the purge of the Crusade from disbelievers. To the day he follows this duty with a dedication that borders to madness.
