I was using my computer earlier to convert some audio files when I accidentally nudged the power adapter with my foot (oops!) and shut it off instantly.
Now whenever I turn my computer on, it shows MSI's "military class components" screen then has this strange text on the screen and nothing else:

A ¬ U é V = ! ! * é L
(I have added spaces here because I was unable to post this topic without them for some reason)

Nothing happens automatically after that, but if I press f8 when that's showing it lets me choose to start windows normally. I've tried some obvious fixes: a system restore to a few days ago, virus/malware scans, run memtest, tested with prime95, but everything I can test in windows seems to be functioning completely properly without errors or delays.

My hardware:
MSI P67A-GD53
i5 2500k running at 4.4 GHz
G Skill Sniper low-voltage RAM (2x4GB)
GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr II (at stock speed right now, usually run it overclocked)
Corsair TX 650w PSU

If anybody has any ideas what this message could mean I'd be very grateful as I'm completely stumped.
