Having never played the Mass Effect series I am thinking about jumping into ME2. For $5 you cant beat it, but my question is, if I have never played ME1 will I be lost??

I <3 Deux Ex mucho. The first is in my top 5 games of all time, and Human Revolution is pretty solid. Can't speak about the others on your list, I am just starting to come out of my WoW coma into the light of *every other video game*
