    [TV] Worst SEASON of a tv show?

    title says it all, what is the worst season of a show you have watched? My opinion is the 2nd season of Darker than Black, ugh when your show starts with 3 character getting hit with a METEOR and that meteor creating a nice hot crater and 1 person dying and another ....losing an eye? when theyre perfectly ordinary humans then you know your season sucks. the fact that the series is based on a trilogy and that there will be no 3rd season makes it worse

    Season 5 of The Wire was pretty bad eventho the first 4 where very very decent.
    It just became to much to handle, the whole bad-boy act got to a point where it was just meh.

    Numb3rs season 6 suffers from the same problem, you reach a point where everything is done and gets stale after a while and even a great tv show with an original PoV starts to feel redundant after a while.

    'Infinite 8' from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I love the rest of the anime but after the third episode of that abomination I wanted to blow my brains out!

    agreed, i just have to wonder, WHY? who repeats the same episode repeatedly in such a repetitious manner?
    Isnt 10% of infinite still infinite?

    Season 5 of Dexter was pretty shit.

    Watchable, but comparatively bad.


    Then again it's difficult for a show to keep maintaining such high standards. Especially if you have 20+ episodes per season. The original concept will only carry you so far until you're forced to reinvent yourself.

    Most TV shows suffer from the continued "upping of stakes" which leads to some ridiculous plots. After saving the world, then saving the universe...what remains to be saved?

    season 5 was pretty great in dexter imho, s3 was way worse actually the only season of the 6 i didnt love tbh. as for worst season ever? weeds s7 tbh

    The final season of Scrubs, where there are in a university. That was just such an appalling let down. I mean they had several mediocre seasons, then season 8 was supposed to be the last, so they really worked at it and that was a great season. Only then they got another final season after that, which was criminally awful.

    I don't know about the all-time worst, but I loved Heroes and Glee in season 1, but then I stopped watching after the first episode of Season 2 (for both shows). Prison Break season 4 was also shit.
