So as Dec 15th gets closer, I've been having a hard time deciding which way to go with my Marauder. There seems to be two logical choices, 31 into Annihilation, or 31 into Carnage (Rage being the pvp tree).
Annihilation (the bleed tree)
This tree is very interesting, and is focused around Rupture and bleed damage, with talents that increase bleed tick crit %, bleed damage, makes rupture slow targets, make bleed ticks heal, etc. I only got my marauder to level 17 on the weekend beta, so my testing is limited, but it seems that this tree is the sustained dps tree. Carnage (Ataru Form tree)
This tree is focused around the talented Ataru Form, which adds a 2nd weapon attack on your attacks (similar to Arms Warriors mastery, or Wild Quiver). Not only can you talent into Ataru Form, but other talents increase the damage of the attack, make those attacks increase dmg of other attacks, generate more rage, etc. It also has several talents benefiting Force Scream, which, as of level 17, is the Marauder's strongest single-target attack (costs 4 rage, ~10 second cooldown, quite strong). I'd probably go something like this: http://torguild.net/calculator/sith-...00000000000000 opting out of bleed talents because I probably would completely ignore rupture... Unless we get other bleeds at higher levels.
Thoughts? I will probably try Carnage when TOR goes live, just because I've never been a fan of bleeds. Plus if I level through a good amount of pvp, I'll want a more bursty tree.
