I heard leveling in SWTOR will be a much longer pace then it was like for Cata beta for example. Don't know if thats true or not though.

I saw people getting 2x 25-30s in the weekend beta only playing 2-3 days and sleeping. So yea, it's very possible. And yea, it will be done. Although, I'm going hardcore RP style and listen to every dialog and really form my character.


I had to reroll on the beta, because I hated my character after picking 1 wrong thing to say.. So this time I'm going to be very very accurate with my answers.

There will be easily some 50's running around after 3 days. I'm sure allot of the old beta players who have got many 50's wouldn't need to sit through all the quest scenes as they have done it plenty of times before. I think even for those of us that haven't played through and want the story and have planned for long sittings of play time will get to 50 before early access is over if we get in on the 13th.

Somebody will do it, but it's kind of like having someone make a fantastic meal for you and you just wolfing it down without even stopping to savor the taste before asking for more. Just my opinion.

I'm going to hit 50 fairly fast, but that's because I have a month off between my finals and the start of my next semester, so I'll be playing a lot during that period. My plan is not to skip a single piece of dialogue on my first toon.

i hit lvl 28 in abt 9 hours gameplay.... it is possible to power to 50 in 30 hours gameplay.....

so yes i expect to see some hardcore person..... -.- getting there in a few days if not on the second day.

I have no idea how long it takes to level to 50, last I heard it was around 200 hours but I suppose that is with not skipping cutscenes and doing most all/most quests?

Anyway, if it's possible someone will do it.

as for myself, I won't have the time to really play more than a few hours per day due to work.

It definitly can be done, just do class quests and easy sidequestes i was lvl 18 on 2 Chars in less than a day. (I don't mean 24hours playing more something like 9-12 hours)
And I had to do the classquests with my girlfriend

If they skip, its doable.

With very little sleep, that's still ~130 hours of gameplay.
That seems like a decent amount of time.

That's 200 hours including watching all the quest scenes. You can cut down allot if you skip these. Sure, for most people they wont want to, but like I said, there will be people from early beta that have experienced all the quests already that can easily just power through to 50.
