    Upgrading from Digital standard to CE

    Hello
    I managed to get hold of a CE via my local retailer.
    Is it possible to put in the CE game code on the same account that has the digital standard early access?

    Thx in advance

    I'm pretty sure it should be. Just use the CE key in stead of the Digital key when setting up your subscription.

    I'm not 100% sure but I dont think early access have anything to do with game codes. Its a separate code that is linked with your pre-order and not the copy that comes with the pre-order. So just add the CE code when its possible and sell / give away the standard edition.

    You don't really need to add another pre-order code.
    You'll get Early access with the DD pre-order and you can enter the CE game code when the game launches and get the CE items.
    If you want you can cancel the DD order with Origin and you'll not lose Early Access. I've done that from Standard Digital to Digital Deluxe.

    All pre-rder codes are the same. They don't distinguish b/w different game editions. During the pre-launch, the only extra item you get is a colorstone. All other game edition specific items will be available on Dec 20th after you punch in the real game code that comes with the package (or being emailed in case of digital downloads).

    So, if you already have a pre-order code attached to your account, don't do anything. Once an account is flagged for early access, it is flagged.. you will receive your email to start the pre-launch period. Then, when you receive the actual game, enter the code after 20th.

    I would be careful, there were many quotes from Origin support that said pre-order codes received from Origin will be invalidated on Cancellation. I never saw someone actually confirming this (meaning someone who ordered on Origin before, then cancelled and saw their code go puff) but I wouldn't take it for granted.

    To this I'll ask;

    If you go DD or DDE and then upgrade to CE, are you out your original code? In wow if you upgrade to a CE you can call cs and get a valid replacement code mailed to you. I tried the tor cs forums before today, but my post got buried seconds after I hit post.

    Asking cause the wife got me the CE but I won't get it till Xmas, and I alredy preordered the DD.

    It's not possible to upgrade from digital to CE.

    It is very possible, simply enter the CE retail key on top of the digital key once you get it.

    Guess they changed it then, it was stated a while ago that it would only be possible to redeem one code per account.

    One Pre-order key yes, but Retail keys, no. You can upgrade to CE.

    Ah yes, the answer is on Twitter:

    @Rockjaw @SWTOR is it possible to upgrade an SE key with a CE key?

    @MarioLitano Yes, that is possible.

    I want to change my SE to DDE just to support Bioware even more. I had a friend preorder it on Origin with my own credit card. How would I go about this?

    You can buy up to 3 versions on a single Origin account. So your friend using your CC can buy another DDE to his account and give you the DDE key on the 16th.

    Buy the DDE and cancel the SE? I hope my early access will stick!
