Can Sith Assassin's use medium armour?

Title says it all, my question is if the Sith Inquisitor Assassin can use medium armour (Or even heavy armour).

Sith Assasin uses medium armor when dpsing and tanking (They're like a bear tank in the sense that they dodge a lot). Heavy armor is only available to Jedi Guardians and Trooper Vangaurds, and their opposite classes (Sith Juggs, and Bounty Hunter tech dudes, can't remember the name of their spec sorry)

This is wrong. Assassins use light armor and when tanking they have a stance that increases armor value contribution.

Assassins and Shadows only have access to LIGHT Armor, not Medium or Heavy Armor. The above poster is incorrect.

Also, both Trooper/Bounty Hunter ACs have access to Heavy Armor. It is the default Armor for that base class. Jedi Guardians and Sith Juggernauts gain access to Heavy Armor when they learn that AC.

also im gonna say that armor class have only a difference of 5% in between each.

Assassins use light armor, but thier tank "stance" jacks their armor up to be on par with heavy armor tanks. Also 'sins use shield gnerators on thier offhand which puts them on par with medium armor users. The shield is invisable and they still use the double-bladed saber with it on.
