I am hyped for Guardian. Mesmer looks kind of boring :/

Ranger/Hunter for life. Or not? I don't really know, I will be Charr whatever happens for sure, but I'm not sure I like the ranger in GW2. I will try it out when I can, and if not, well, I like casters, so probably elementalist as second?

    I'm still with the Engineer.
But I also want to play Warrior and Necromancer. Aaaah hard to choose!

Damn. I've having a VERY hard time deciding between the Mesmer, the Elementalist and the Engineer.

Thief! I am surprised to see how many people are choosing mesmer. I guess it will be different once everyone gets a chance to play and finds out which professions are not for their play style.

All aboard the mesmer boat. I will think the mesmer trend will die and even out. everyone just wants to play a call they dont know much about. (so do i)

    Still Charr Guardian as main.
Asura Thief as second char/first twink.

    The third char well... depends.
Ranger if they update their dump pet AI. Love collecting stuff like pets and some of them are quite marvelous.
If not than maybe Mesmer but I have yet to see some real gameplay videos.
If both fail to impress me, than Elementalist.
Sylvari in all three cases most likely.

Quite sure that I couldn't play more than 3 chars wholeheartedly.
The advantage of the dreamer is that he never has to face the chains of reality.

lol i find it funny how a lot of people debate on playing mesmer or ranger, the two have like nothing in common but a lot of people seem stuck on them me being one of them xD

I will no doubt use them all. But I think I'll stay with choosing an engineer as my main. The mesmer does look pretty sweet as well, possibly my first alt.

It's funny because in the GW2 thread concerning addons I made a post about playing a ranged warrior. :P

Noob question (like I said I haven't done research on this game yet, despite how cool it looks and my move for the first one), but, will there be dual classes on each character like the first one, or will each character have one class?

Charr Warrior. A delicious mix of wildly swinging two weapons, shielding yourself, hurling a giant hammer about, and even shooting arrows and bullets at your enemies from afar... Mmmm.

Also, bipedal furry cat man. Sounds like my kind of RPG.

Single professions. Dual professions makes the game stupidly hard to balance.

    It's so hard to decide.

I voted mesmer but could also be a necromancer. I normally always go a necromancer type of class in all games if they have it but for me Guild War 2's necromancers don't seem all that interesting.

Been longing to play my mace/mace charr warrior since I heard about the game. So far I've seen a lot of new professions, but none have steered me away from my original choices.

Notice plenty of people have picked mesmer.
I has reservations about the mesmer class when it was heavily rumoured, I was sceptical about how they would implement the class as the mechanics mesmers used in GW1 were said to not be in GW2. I am very happy that they went along an "illusionist" way with the mirror images, portals, and all that Jazz. So put me down for a mesmer and I will see you all in game in a few more months hopefully.

I like all the professions except playing the ranger, so really I just don't know....its hurts to choose T-T. Though my only experience was at comic-con so obviously never played the mesmer or the updated hunter.
