    Surround sound and new headset

    I'm buying the Logitech G930 Headset 7.1 surround sound headset and I still have my stock audio card would I need to check if it can play surround sound? and if not upgrade my audio card to something newer?

    Nope, USB headsets don't function off of your audio card. I would recommend getting the wired version (G35) as the Logitech G930's microphone is locked to that of "Tape recorder quality" -- I returned mine a few weeks ago it sounded awful.
