Hair gets stuck into the speaker(membrane) through the filter, causes rumble at low frequencies and at around 185-200Hz sometimes.
Happens to me all the time(lion hair)
Luckily, my headphones are very durable so I can open them whenever I want(I'm very violent at this) and they still don't break.

Playing Fallout 2.
Walking around in this little town, just chillin', trying to find some quests to do to get money for ammo.
Eat breakfast at this diner, get eggs, and then starts to explore this rather huge building.
Find a locked door, try to picklock it but fail 20 times in a row.
Get pissed and blow the door away with C14 plastic explosives.
A Deathclaw stands on the other side of the door (For those of you who have never played fallout, this is one of the worst things imaginable)
I barrely kill it, walks up to my room and sleeps.
Walks down next morning and asks for breakfast
"We can't give you eggs. Someone killed our... 'Chicken'..."
You... got... to... be... kidding... me...

I both love and hate this game infinitely
