Been running LFR on 3 characters for as long as it's been out, and I've won 2 loots in total (one which I didn't actually have to roll against anyone on...) and it does indeed seem like the shittier you play, the higher you roll. ;_;

i really don't get why, everytime some random player ran a lfr run without winning loot, they have an urge to share it with everybody else, even though we don't care at all. it's not something new, it doesn't solve anything with another thread about the same, it's annoying.

Here is how lfr roll system works. If u top meters ur rolls are exact same what u actually roll but if u lose meters and fail u get +100 more to ur rolls so u could next time put better performance. ;--D Just joking

I prefer to just play the "see how big a gap I can make between me and number 2" rather than flip out over loot.

The only thing that pissed me off so far was when two healing maces dropped (on my healer), 2 people rolled, I was 2nd, he was 5th (4 digit HPS ftw), he won both. Then fucked off as soon as the second one landed in his bags. Greedy twat.

If you consider worst than you all the other 24 players that are there, yes, chance is that a bad player will get the loot. Like 24 times more chance to win, go figure.

PD: Yes, I tried to autoattack too in a couple of bosses. It doesn't help and is far less fun than to try your best. Consider that worldoflogs takes LFR as 25N. Wohoo ranking in both 10&25 modes!

....and you noticed just now , it's a constant in the past 5 year (been playing since Vanilla Closed beta) . I guess the system thinks that the low dps should get the gear so it can go up ..... I don't have another explication .

I know how you feel, but I won both my Vial of Shadows and Wrath of Unchaining trinkets while topping the meters by a fair bit. That alone is proof enough for me it's just me being paranoid.

I could make a mint on tin foil hats for people in this thread. There's no conspiracy, no "hidden bonus" or any of that stuff. Even if every one of the people in this thread -always- lost out to lesser players, statistically speaking that's an anomaly.

Obviously it's random and everyone knows that. Still, it's quite logical that "the better you do, the more likely it is that someone worse than you gets the loot". Even more so if you're "the best" and consider everyone else to be a "baddie".

As such, some people can "logically" assume that their personal perfomance doesn't matter, afk auto-shot, /roll, and still have reasonable chance of winning epics - which results in threads like this one.
