Really really excited, love the 40K lore and games. Who else is going to play it when they release it, btw virgil games is making it the ones that do Darksiders serie and THQ is the publicer, hope they pull off a great mmo.

Great IP, but always handled so poorly directly. Funny thing is other games which borrow from the Warhammer IPs are usually wildly successful. Go figure!
I love the IP. Would love to see a solid MMO done in Warhammer U.

Well, they might as well evolve the space marine formula and make an RPG/Action game out of it.
I don't know about you, but I would mind playing a mad fat green warboss equipped with a power klaw plowing through hordes of imperial guardsmen, with friends following closely behind in co-op. Besides, lets get real, do we really want more MMOs? THQ seems to be taking a similar approach with dark millenium a with dawn of war 3, as in single player game with strong multiplayer that keeps getting supported with more content. I really don't mind that.
THQ does a very very good job with the warhammer 40k IP, and I am very glad that they keep going despite the difficulties.
EDIT: That said, I have completely neglected Space Marine, I think I'll buy it.

There was always a problem with this game that left me excited and worried in equal measures.
If they made the game with Space Marines totally OP, they fail to make a decent MMO.
If they made the game without Space Marines being totally OP, they fail to make a decent Space Marine.
If they made the game without Space Marines, they fail.

Well, it essentially becomes a sequel to space marine.
They might as well build themselves from the ground up through the action/rpg series now, and maybe in the future work with the MMO.
Still, glad that they keep making WH40K Games. Relic is one of those developers that I care for.

Well, THQ studios are working on good stuff at least.(Vigil and Relic mainly)
Darksiders, Company of Heroes, Dawn of War and Space Marine/DMO.
Relic is an RTS master, and hopefuly they will continue their epicness with dawn of war and coh.
I really do think though, that a Space Marine/DMO Action RPG hybrid has decent potential for fun. I hope we see playable Orks.

Was looking forward to that, so many childhood memories of Warhammer 40k....
But as others have stated, the MMO market is just saturated for the minute... WoW, Rift, Swtor, Aion, WAR (if people still play it?), EVE, FF12 then the upcoming titles, GW2, The Secret World, TERA Online, probably others ive missed because my brain isnt working.... It would have had to be VERY good...
