No problems myself, but you could try some tests to narrow down the cause.
On Portableapps.com you can get portable editions of several web browsers, that will operate independantly of and not impact on any you have installed.
Running those might help identify if it is a browser specific issue, or something more generic.
Well, turns out Curse isn't a fan of people using hosts files to filter out ads.
It's funny since I only started doing so after Curse mass infected tons of members via their client and a flash exploit from one of their advertising partners a few weeks ago. (regular ad blockers only work in browsers, not programs)
