Good, help cover up child sexual abuse while he was coach, it's a shame the kids life's who he helped ruined won't be ever be normal.

tmz is never wrong
It is true.
http://espn.go.com/college-football/...?eleven=twelve"It is with great sadness that we announce that Joe Paterno passed away earlier today," said a statement from Paterno's family, released Sunday, shortly after 10 a.m. ET. "His loss leaves a void in our lives that will never be filled.
Guess the guilt finally caught up to him, hope he burns in hell. You people still defending him, wake up idiots, he took advantage of kids you sick people.
Ok ima come out and say this right now. This is ALL Penn States Fault. You know how sometimes cancer patients just can will themselves through it and doctors cant explain why the patients arnt dead yet. Joe Pa had this will and it was Penn State football. They didnt even know he was sick till a few weeks after he was fired. But soon after he was fired he lost that will. He had a reason to live and they took it away from him, they took his life away because he was Penn State football.
Now i dont like Joe Pa i think it was ridiculous that he was coaching at that age and hearing his incoherent speeches made me change the channel but they kept him their even at that old age and i was wondering how this guy was still living and breathing as people who know about head coaching in football it takes alot out of you. When all the allegations surfaced and people in the media were calling for Joe's head i said to myself if they fire this guy hes going to die in less than a year. And i said this not because he had cancer because no one knew his health at that time. I said it because i knew how much that program meant to him and for them to fire him would just eat away at him till he could no longer stand living and at that age his body would just give out.
RIP Joe i never liked Penn State and i never will after this.
Get your facts straight Joe didnt do anything but what he was obligated by the university to do which was report to his superiors about and allegation that was brought to him. He didnt take advantage of anyone. The university is then to blame for not reporting the incidents to the police and for covering the whole thing up.

Little more than bad judgement, jesus, really supporting someone who allowed child abuse? It's not excuse to not phone the police, none what so ever, it's disgusting.

therefore, he was involved, didn't stop it, involved.
I actually agree with this, my father has lung cancer and only has one lung and is still alive almost 2 years after diagnosis, joe p had a great prognosis at diagnosis and died months later, the stress is what killed him, I think he just didn't have the will to fight after all that

He reported it to his higher ups who were responsible for stuff like that and they didn't do shit so he is not solely at fault.

Thats Jerry Sandusky not joe paterno,
I think the guilt and stress of the situation helped to speed up his deterioration a lot. I'm sad to see him die like that and in these circumstances, but the consequences of our choices ALWAYS come back to haunt us. I think had he done the right thing back then things would have turned out differently. Being a "company man" is never a good thing in the long term. Hopefully they nail Sandusky and he goes to jail for life. I just hope Joe Paterno's son doesn't climb all over the TV proclaiming his father's innocence in the matter anymore, it was a cop out then and it'll be an even bigger cop out now. The issue just doesn't go away because Joe Paterno is dead, and dying shouldn't be a one way ticket to being absolved of your share of blame.
