My laptop's only got 8GiB of RAM though.

My desktop usually has 90% used RAM, all because of Chrome-tabs. :P
They are like, my children. I can't close down all the imgur, all the computer-hardware product reviews or the cute cat-videos on youtube.
Or all the images I have of giraffes. Especially the giraffes.

I open links as new tabs of EVERYTHING that MIGHT be interesting, but often don't get round to looking at it. I also keep opening new youtube tabs instead of using just the 1. Eventually google chrome will crash because it can't handle java/flash and I start again.

Atm there is about 10 tabs for wikipedia (branched out from Battle of Britain links) and 10 on guitar tabs. The rest is random crap.

Usually only 1. Sometimes 2 if I'm using google or facebook or something but I close the second one down when I am done with it.

Although my comp can easily run over 30 tabs while games are running, I just don't like the clutter..

I usually have 4 + a few more tabs open. Very rarely will I have tabs that start requiring me to scroll sideways to see. I have 6 open right now - Facebook, Twitter, MMO-C, Reddit, a Morgana Dom Item Build, Rammus Dom Item Build, and the guild website.

the browser on my mainscreen have 3 that's always open other then them it varies on what i'm doing and on the sub screen browser about 3-4 pending on what streams/shows/movies are online/i'm watching

Why on earth would you need 40 or 60 tabs? I only had one right now, but its common for me to have 3 or 4... the most I ever have is if I am writing some research report but it is still never nearly that many.
