How does one know when it's going to be a bad day?
They wake up, 40 minutes AFTER the time their alarm clock is set for. It's pouring rain outside. And when they come downstairs they find their daughter has knocked their graphics tablet pen off their desk and run over it with a chair, putting a huge crack in it and bending it in half...

The pen. I managed to re-maneuver all the springs and shiny pen parts inside and duct tape it and it SEEMS like it still works, but it was on it's last legs before in that it doesn't pick up pen pressure and now I don't know how long it will continue to work. It can't be replaced, the tablet itself is 15 years old and I can't afford a new one.
And yes, I want a hug. *crankyface*
