EA *IS* evil.
But judging from everything I've seen from ME3 so far, it has everything going for it to become the #1 best game I've ever played (current #1 being ME1).

This game isnt worth buying. Just do what im doing. Let your brother buy it, and when you return home for the summer, play it on his 360 because all your save files are on their anyway. =D
Then don't buy it duh. It's funny people will purposely rob themselves of something they really want in some futile atttempt to protest when the much simpler solution is to just not buy the dlc. That way you really can have your cake and eat it to. FYI for the protesters, I went CE hunting around local gamestops/eb games and not only could I not preorder a CE edition I could not even preorder A REGULAR EDITION OF THE GAME.
Garrus Banter <3 WARNING SPOILERS IN DIALOGUE
When I asked my local GAMEstop (or whatever they are, something along that line anyway) they said at least one week prior to launch for CE pre-order. Only way to pre-order it now is through Origin (pre-order through Origin available until the 5th, according to the fine print when I read it).
played demo, got excited - played multiplayer - which looks good.....
"Bill Nye: So Todd I got an offer for you. You and me. Any time. Any place. Debating science mano- a-mano. I'll bring the facts, and you bring the Vaseline. Because your ass is gonna fucking need it when I'm done whipping."
Mr Eames: "You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling"
just a quick giggle - its from the shadow broker's files if you have not gotten that DLC

I can't wait for Mass Effect, sadly we will get it a few days late in Europe, but that doensnt matter as I got raids on Wed and Thursday anyways. I don't really care about the story of Commander Shepard in Mass Effect, but I can't wait to learn more about the Reaper's intentions.
BTW, if you have preordered the CE or DDE, you can now DL the OST from BSN. Such a great soundtrack. "A Future for the Krogan" is beautiful.
Not sure if anyone has posted it yet but I found a play through of the actual game, not the demo, painful to watch the guy play because he's terrible but if you're like me you'll devour the footage anyways.

Damn I can't wait for this game. I only hope I'm not putting too high expetations on it; ME2 was by far the best game I've played so beating it will be difficult but if they take the good things from ME2, and add the epic feeling of great epic battle against reapers then I'm ok with this
Btw , anyone regretting not taking Ashley as love interest? she looks quite good now but cause she was a xenophobic ugly jerk in the first one, I didn't brother and took Liara instead

I created a new Shepard a week back solely for this purpose. Would've been easier to simply download a savegame, but I played through both games simply to make sure he'd stay faithful to his ME1 LI + the various choices I wanted to see how it impacts in ME3 was made in contrast to my "main" Shepard (Paragon Garrus vs not, for instance).
The generalist looks outward; he looks for living principles, knowing full well that such principles change, that they develop. It is to the characteristics of change itself that the mentat-generalist must look. There can be no permanent catalogue of such change, no handbook or manual. You must look at it with as few preconceptions as possible, asking yourself, "Now what is this thing doing?" -Children of Dune
For the US, at least.
I'm tempted to buy it on Origin under a US-located account/VPN bypass the region check and then cancel my Amazon pre-order. Sick of these disparate release dates across the pond, even moreso given the effort put into advertising for ME3.
my schedule for this friday is to have my class from 8 to 9.30 then hop on the subway and drive to the game store and get my fresh copy then get bk home and lock myself for the following days while i save the galaxy
someone else might have gotten it wrong.
