Maybe I didn't foster enough approval with him. But I walked into Denerim and this asshole has like fifty Crows trying to kill me. And this was after I spared his sorry ass.

    Ahhh yeah, that's why. xD

Indeed, if you have high enough approval with him he tells the Crows where to shove it and helps you fight them off. lol

That is your mistake, you shouldn't have. yes it's innuendo.
All right, gentleperchildren, let's review. The year is 2024 - that's two-zero-two-four, as in the 21st Century's perfect vision - and I am sorry to say the world has become a pussy-whipped, Brady Bunch version of itself, run by a bunch of still-masked clots ridden infertile senile sissies who want the Last Ukrainian to die so they can get on with the War on China, with some middle-eastern genocide on the side

Sten was awesome. I literally fell of my chair laughing when he and the dog had a conversation in the camp.

The interplay between Morrigan and Allisatir was the best though. Those two had me cracking up. It was the spock/Mccoy relationship all over again. Some of the other ones were good to. The dwarf hits on the old woman it was pretty funny.

I was laughing my ass off when the whole Shale/chicken... incident happened as you're leaving the town you find Shale in.

Man, sometimes Stand In Fire syndrome exists in this game.

Wave 7: Player gets impaled by a banshee
Wave 8: Player gets impaled by a banshee
Wave 9: Player gets impaled by a banshee
Wave 10: Terminate the Targets, means extra banshees . . . same player gets impaled by a banshee
Wave 11: Partial extraction because . . . you guessed it!

You'd think after the first or second "don't stand in melee range of a banshee" would be apparent.

Good thing it was only Silver.

A newbie vanguard? Can probably forgive one, two, three sync kills.

But then my patience dries up real fast if you keep doing it and not use your weapon.

    It's actually reasonably safe

If you wait until they stop jumping, then I think they don't start again and grab you until you either move too far away or leave them alone too long.

If you can tank the melee hits + blasts

I never understood why people can't dodge the grab. As both the Human Van and KroGaurd kit. I was able to melee the Banshees to death. KroGuard hits like a truck, where as being a Human requires some fancy footwork.

The only people I was genuinely afraid to jump on were Phantoms.

It's undodgable if they do it

They have a % chance when teleporting next to someone to do either the melee swipe or the grab, the grab is instantaneous so you're screwed if they do it.

Though it's perfectly safe to run RIGHT next to them if they're focused on someone else, just be careful they don't swap to you.

I tend to be conservative when meleeing creatures. I don't melee most insta-kill troops. Phantoms, sometimes if I know I can tear them down quickly enough. Shadows are good against phantoms, strike, melee (or dodge away), strike again. Need a light weapon for fast cooldowns though. But for the most part, I just take things out at range if they have instagib moves.

Juggernaut is of course, the exception.

And I just had the trippiest Vancouver mission: Wave 10 for some reason I started flying above the map. Like I was falling from the ceiling but 10 feet up I'd start over again or something. Then on extraction I fell through the floor . . .

Show me a Juggernaut getting sync killed and I'll be impressed. :P

And yes I'm aware that they're immune.
