Wasn't saying there were female hanar, just brought up a somewhat related quote from the game that I found amusing.
And my money is on asexual reproduction.
I guess im too used to people arguing against everything i say.
Liara's father does state that tits are useless on a Hanar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...3KP-UKqw#t=15s). We also know that Blasto is distinctly male and "mates" with both Asari and Elcor. Given the success of the fictional movie Blasto in the ME universe we can extrapolate that all Hanar are males (a male version of Asari) or they have some sort of gender difference that the idea of womanizing romancing male Hanar is a popular character.
There is also the cover of Fornax which could be a female Hanar and since we've only seen pink hanar in the game the difference could be pink and purple. While that might not be a Hanar if it is I don't really seem them as galaxy wide popular porn if they are a genderless race. Though Blasto does state that if he is good at one thing it is embracing and his Asari partner does say eight hands is way better...

You know a community is bad when moderators lock a thread because "...this isnt the place to talk about it either seeing as it will get trolled..."
Blasto is also just a fictional movie character made to homage Clint, its not a testament of gender.
Go away Rhorle, you are so full of holes and logical fallacies thats its a fucking chore to discuss when you are nearby.
Biotics just wanna have fun.
Like I said in my post the role of Blasto is written as a huge success in the Mass Effect Universe. That means that plenty of people can easily identify with the Hanar species in that role and accept it. Even if it is just fiction inside of fiction it still tells something about Hanar by what roles they are accepted in.

Well no the problem is what he wrote.
It actually hurt my brain that anyone would belive that.
The depiction of popular fictional characters is often the representation of what societies are willing to accept. I'm sorry to hear that thinking literally hurts your brain. I'll try to not encourage you to think in the future but it may be a useful life skill to practice.

Its rather amazing how blatantly wrong you can be with as few words as possible.
So I was playing DA:O and I found this:
Was on a codex shortly before the Broodmother. A homage to ME1's long ass elevator rides."Mass will have an effect," he says.
As long as it lifts us out, I figure.
Should have specified "within my lifetime."
"Gives us time to talk", he says.
"How's a dwarf get named Shepard?"
Up yer shaft.
"No really, because blah, blah, blah."
Axe answers, but I still hear him.
Drip... ground.
Drip... ground.
Worse than his talking.
Think I'll drop out for some air.

My personal opinion is you might be reading too much in to this. I think that the writers just thought it would be funny to have a hanar be a super star. Sort of like the Shakespeare reditions by elcor. I doubt they put too much thought about the implications other than it would be funny.
While you live, shine / Have no grief at all / Life exists only for a short while / And time demands its toll.
That could be entirely true. However their funny addition still reflects something about the Mass Effect Universe and given that they carried Blasto on through several games and comics it evolved past a simple joke. Even things added to a work of fiction just as a joke still shapes the lore of that fictions universe. There are a lot of things in Mass Effect of greater significance that could drastically change the story and lore if it is just written off as whimsy.
The same is true of Fornax with the Hanar on the cover. It is clearly a pot shot at Tentacle eroticism but it still says something about the people that live in the galaxy in Mass Effect.
