I played just about everything in D2 back in the day tough! Yeah, a buddy and I liked to roll around with a frost aura (forget the name) pally stacking that up and him playing a Sorceress and just AoEing everything into the ground.

By the way, where did the "Messiah" meme come from? As near as I can tell, no one on the left has ever actually referred to Obama as a messiah. Is this some sort of weird thing resulting from religious insecurity among the religious right? I'm not saying it is, I just really have no idea, so I'm tossing out a guess.

It's because a lot of the less-educated liberals and 20-something know-it-alls swore to god almighty that Obama was going to turn the world into a perfect socialist utopia when he was running in 2008. Now they've divided into two camps: Those living in denial ("Obama knows how to fix everything but the Republicans won't let him!"), and those who are extremely bitter over the whole thing. When Obama promised "change", these kids interpreted it as "Think of everything you want me to do and I promise I'll do it!". Now you've got OWS guys upset because Obama isn't the savior they dreamed him up to be, while everyone who had half a brain during that election is responding "No... really? I never saw that coming."

Let's assume, for the moment, that this is the case. Why in the world would it be a useful or reasonable means of engaging the posters on the stickied threads? I don't charge in saying, "LOLZ DENY EVOLUTION MOAR IDIOTS" even though that's actually a statistically sizeable portion of the conservative base. I was taught to give the person you're talking to the benefit of the doubt until they prove they don't deserve it.

Clearly Limbaugh does not speak for the GOP, but apparently Farrakhan speaks for the Dems, in Kalyyns world.
