The location has changed from China, to Scotland and now Seattle. Don't think anyone has figured out why yet though.

This makes me want to go finish the first amnesia now, I kind of got bored with it after for the first 3 hours it felt like the story wasn't developing at all.

There previous game (very similar but more survival, still scary as balls) Penumbra had a much more interesting story that played out well through the game. I played Amnesia for like 4 hours and felt like nothing new had happened. I was just walking around this castle doing puzzles and hiding from some random fucking scary as shit monster thing. I got bored after a bit.

Penumbra was AMAZING, easily one of the best single player games I've played. And I'd probably say thats mostly just because of how awesome the story was, and how immersive it was as well.

Oh hell no! It could be anywhere but freakin' China! Please! There's something unexplainably scary about China at night for me, don't know what. But oh god, as if the first one wasn't enough... I still hope it'll be by the end of the 18th century like the last game, the lack of technology was part of it's frigthening factor.

Let's plays of games like Amnesia are perfect for a few reasons:

a) Some of us are just too big of pussies, like myself, to do it on our own.
b) They are funny, seeing our idols/hearing them cry and all is just glorious. Plus the Jesse Coxx one was down-right funny as well.

Well, aside from that fact that I'm not quite of legal drinking age... Hmm, lemme think about that, FUCK NO! My limit on scary games is basically Devil May Cry 1, anything scarier is a no go. And DMC 1 is only bearable because it's not possible to be scared when you're that badass.
