I'm having a lot of fun playing SWTOR as of lately!

I just wanted to post and say that im having a ton of fun playing SWTOR right now. I've seen a lot of complaints from people, and I suspect these people are too addicted to other games and they want to drag down people who actually like The Old Republic.

After the recent patches that have quality of life improvements, it is evident that Bioware is doing their best to listen to the community and work on changes that make the gameplay more fluid and fun. I love my commando. The story is compelling and its fun meeting people and doing all the group quests together. I raid end game on my Gunslinger and I must say, the Operations are simply AMAZING. Very ambient atmosphere in each of the Operations (Raids), and the bosses are quite simply some of the best, fun fights i've ever done. There is something for everyone in this game.

If you have been hesitating on buying the game, or coming back to the game, I would say now is a great time to buy it, or get back into it! They have been doing a great job with patches and giving the community what they want. The game is not perfect, no game is, but it is getting better and better by the minute!

Lets see some positive posts, and some kudos for Bioware for making a great game.

What made you suddenly want to stop playing at level 30? The game really picks up from there, with you getting your speeder at 25, and entering more of the fun and interesting flash points. (dont get me wrong, all of the lower level flashpoints are super fun as well). You are only 20 levels away from end game!

currenty there are a ton of bug, the same wow had at launch if not more, but it stops people from jumping into it, the first xpac will be where it really shines or fails, right now it lacks some basic things we've been used to in wow, like a lfg system or vaugely laid out way to gear.

its still very fun and i'm still playing and doing ops, but it could be shined better and have more players!
Dragonflight Nerfs vs fun again show a Blizzard that hasn't learnt a lesson, Actions speak louder than words afterall watch what they do and do not do.

It's good to have a positive post about this game. Hopefully it won't get flamed into oblivion but you know how it is. I've been enjoying the game as my Jedi Knight for the past couple weeks, I usually never like playing melee in these games but the Sentinel is a blast.

I too am having tons of fun, sure it has bugs and problems but all MMO's do at launch. I think this is all due to them rushing the release, in 6 months time it will be at the standard it should have been and all the naysayers will eat their hats.

Not a surprise coming from me, but I'm still enjoying it very much.

It might seem fun leveling, but trust me that novelty will wear off. It's not a very good game. Maybe short term, but they dropped the ball big time. No way will most people play long term.

I loved the leveling experience. After that, the game just couldn't hold my attention. Hopefully once the bugs are worked out and a larger variety of end-game content comes out, I will be back to playing.

I've made a bunch of friends doing HMs, currently gearing up for Ops while I wait on guildies. I admit it tiresome sometimes running the same dungeons over and over and over, but its not like swtor is the first game that does that. Other than that, I'm still having a blast and both pve and pvp.

Agreed, the game kind of turns to shit after 30 where you get 2 voiced quests every 2 hours, and a whole lot of alien gibberish quests. First 30 levels is densely packed with a lot of voiced quests. I should have known they couldn't keep up the pace and it will be even worse with what appears to be year long waits between content patches.

To add to this, the planet belsavis or whatever it is, is the worst planet ever... just endless driving from one side of the massive map to the other. They should have allocated those resources to adding more planets with more focused questlines. Then again, Belsavis looks like it has three textures used to paint the entire planet.

The what now? What year long wait for content patches? We had one in a month.

I'll see you in a year when it's still around and playing. People likely said the same thing about warcraft on its release.

It is astonishing to me that people will gladly sub to a game that isn't gonna see any new content for at least 6 months and not say a peep but the game that is giving them content on a almost monthly basis at this point doesn't have enough. It's not like the majority of these people have cleared either raid on NM but even if they had theyll somehow be satisfied with DS for at least 6 months likely longer until MoP comes out. This is not a very good website for swtor discussion frankly. It's disgusting.

another "it's believed that bioware is tending to it's massive community and doing soso for soso and actually working on its game and yatta yatta yatta".
These posts are so annoying. We've had this thread like 100000000 times.

Aside from that, the game looks cool. I wanted to try it, and i'm in the process of getting a guildies account who quit.. i don't think this game is worth buying since it's like playing my original kotor.

Thanks for the thread repeat tho.

I'm still having fun. More actually than a month ago. My main is a Marauder but lately I've been leveling alts along with my wife who fell in love with the game as well and I must say, questing and listening to voiceovers with someone other than yourself is so amazingly fun and we can't get enough of it.

In any case, I will see myself playing this for a very, very long time.
