Improvements since beta?

wait a sec, on #9, you guys don't get a uac prompt to run swtor?

i don't actually have to enter a password either but that's because my win user account is admin level. however it still requires admin privileges. i assume tackhisis use an account that isn't an admin for his daily stuff (actually smart, i just don't do it because it's a pita) so then he would need to enter an admin password.

my best guess is it needs admin privs for ipc between the two swtor processes but not sure since from what i understand during most of beta it wasn't required? it sure is a pain in the ass to make it work with my logitech g700. have to run that elevated, too, to map my mouse buttons nicely. haven't tried vent but i hear that's pita, too.

#8.... I really wish they would implement that, and as for the person who said

you actually have to read the quest and look at your Mission Items.

Why?? I know what I'm doing and where I am going because I sat through the VA.... would just be nice to not have to either drag the item to an already over cramped bar or pop your bag open covering half the screen to use the damn thing. A small, click-able icon next to the quest in the on screen tracker would be awesome.

7. I do not run out of quests at level 7, I'm using Win7, as adm, room tempature around 23c with a Sony monitor (drivers not installed!)
8. Well it does when I'm playing on my Win7 with adm, but not when I'm playin on my XP laptop without adm enabled and room temp at apx 21c

Unless you're just not picking up the quests as you go this is impossible.

In beta, not so much, they bumped up starter area exp in the last build before live..."how do i get my AC" was ending up like fricking mankriks wife, as people were hitting their fleets at 8 or 9, so they boosted the exp.

now its almost impossible not to be 10 before fleet unless you go out of yoru way not to kill anything. im usually 11 or 12.

bad for you. i enjoy not being able to write russian (my native) so i can practive my english even more than i do usually at work & on the formus. look at this as an advantage to learn most awesome language!
